1:14 Adam’s description of chavs is pretty spot on. Being from the UK I can approve of Adam’s statement. Also I am half of that… without the stabby pickpockety bit but the drum and bass and tracksuits(sometimes) is me
@@anthony5227 yea bro & like 2 days later the car is fully built making 700+ on the dyne & he’s already breaking parts. then 1 month later we will get another video explaining why we haven’t seen it in so long, meanwhile he’s bought 3 more in that time 😂😂😂 ❤️
As an ST owner we aren't all chavs if you've never driven one they are great fun to drive and as a young lad they aren't stupid expensive on insurance! Makes them a great introduction into modding cars!
@@theCOOLskaters360 I also agree, as a ST owner we aren't so bad, to be fair i have driven 420bhp golf R, 600BHP S3. in a straight line yeah fast, but for those B roads or in adams scene tail of the dragon. The fiesta is brilliant car and i find to be a much more fun car to drive compared to some of your german alternatives, but again personal preference for what I have driven. But I do agree you'll never find a chav with an EVO haha
Last time I watched this channel it was all about bmx and he had that one bmw , man respect to Adam for making this type of life for himself, escaped the whole 9-5 and followed his dreams respect Adam
The original 'charva/charv' terminology comes from NE England. The acronym is just something that eas made up, after people from elsewhere adopted it and decided to spell it differently.
Adam definitely got the chav spot on because here in the uk the chavs are just so easy to spot out also the chavs will never own something this rare and beautiful they usually have a Vauxhall corsa not sure if I spelled it correctly haha
I was born in High Wycombe but live in Arizona now. So crazy to hear you mention such a random place in England. You are on the money mentioning the Chavs!
I write TSBs sometimes at work and always try to write them keeping in mind the person reading it might have zero mechanical aptitude whatsoever. Instructions like those with Radium parts always make me smile- good work instructions can make or break an entire product imo
My dad bought his evo 4 couple years ago, originally he used it for drags and it made 707 whp. Now he’s retired it and says he’s leaving it for me to have fun with but I can’t imagine driving a car with that much power and sentimental value. Hope you have as much fun with your evo
The 4 was definitely was my favourite. I worked for a big Importers in the UK and have driven all of them. A 4 with a brake upgrade was the pinnacle for me. The 1st 4G63 but before they realized the brakes weren't good enough and therefore put Brembo's on the 5 onwards. Just my opinion.
Not sure if it's the same in other countries. But you can go to various areas of the UK and expect to find higher concentrations of particular cars....
I look forward to these videos! So many badass projects going on. Really wish I could get into the giveaway for the chaser, but my VA disability doesn't hit till the 1st.. Someone's gonna get one sick car though
Adam are you going to refresh the engine on the Evo 4 as it has over 105,000 miles on it and hasn't been MOT inspected in 2 years?? (Yes I looked it up on my app as I'm in Scotland and wanted to check it's MOT history from plates in last video 😁)
I'd say keep the Evo 4. Would be rad to keep it mint with a nice street tune. And the value on these cars are skyrocketing by each year. Then again Evo 4/5/6 is my dream car so abit biased here lol. Keep the evo content rolling!
Thanks for watching! And hope you enjoyed that video? You have been randomly selected among winners for today, contact me to claim your prize right now 👆
Chav is actually an acronym for Council Housed and Violent. Most of them bomb around on mopeds or clapped out hatchbacks. Drum and bass is british institution with a really diverse scene. Obviously you will get dickheads listening to it (as with all music) but for the most part it's all love in the culture.
D&B is the best dancing and driving music. I even dig Jungle and Neurofunk. I would say life starts at 170BPM but I used to spin Hard Dance and UK Hard House so I can dig slower stuff too.
@@billymerritt420 I hear you dude. Been mixing for over 15 years and I don't think I'll ever grow out of DNB. I picture myself as an old man still bumping it in a care home.
Your correct on all of the chav bits n drum n bass and as for the swirl marks on your car thats jokes lol i live 30 minutes from high wycombe as i live in maidenhead but apart from that love your content adam keep up the good work
Hey come on Adam! I'm from the UK and own a 5. I'm not a chav, nor do i wear tracksuits or carry a pen knife but I wet myself when I heard that stereotype! Priceless! - Ollie @ PR
What's the deal with the yellow evo, tme, cream Aussie car and the Quan jz? There's probably others we all forgot you owned too. We just need a whole fleet update honestly.
I work as a detailer about 25 minutes from High Wycombe 😂😂 definitely most cars in that area go to a scratch and shine 😂😂 know of a few Valeters that would have probably tried a paint correction and got those results 😂😂
Perfect for paint correction mitsubishis paints weren't the best clear coats peel alot and then eventually they were made to go to water based paints not sure exactly when because "EnViRoMeNT" and were real bad that looks like the exact same color as my car and my clearcoat looks terrible in a few spots especially around the gas tank door.
