Men who were broken up with by the ex they’re going back to is also a very different situation! Many times that’s an ego thing. The ex hurt him by ending things and her wanting him back feels amazing to him because is psychological. He now feels worthy. It’s actually a psychological trick people can do to make someone obsessed. I don’t recommend it. My point is, when your ex leaves you for his ex girlfriend, there’s a huge difference between if he broke up with her and if she broke up with him. Is she broke up with him and they have a history together, that’s something very hard to compete with.

Please make rebound relationship videos. My ex left me for the "guy friend" who was the shoulder to cry on guy that she told our problems to instead of speaking with me about our own problems. I feel like he took advantage of what he knew about us to win her over when she was vulnerable and emotionally available. We were engaged and been together for 12 years and have 1 child together. Her reason for ending it was that she needed space because she wasn't happy anymore and then she jumps into the rebound. We've met up once and had sex and then met up the day after and she ruined it by bringing back old past problems and since then it's been low contact because of of our child. I do love her and would like to reconcile and have my family again. It's been almost 3 months since the break up. Thanks guys

Hi coach, I left him. ( because I had no choice) He went back to his ex .. yes it was long.. an ex of five years. But I was his crush during those four years and knew nothing about her. Now that Ive left him, he was listening to depressing songs on his Spotify but from my side it’s over as he took me for granted. I feel he went back to her to fill the gap or help with the hurt that I may have caused him because it happened as soon as I left him. Do I feel he’s going to finally marry her? This happened to me and it's just painful we never argued never fought but one night she told me that she misses her ex but I shouldn't worry but that was just something I kept thinking of then she started being distant and she just came one evening and she said that we have to talk and that was it I wasn't mad at her though we still talk and sometimes we reflect on the memories we had and once she asked me what it would take for me to take her back Am just confused

Hi, My ex broke up with me in March after a year of being together and he expressed to me it was because he needed to find himself and get himself together. At the time we were long distance, so our only form of communication was through text and video calls. We kept in touch a few days after we broke up and then we’d go a week max without talking, but the texts were initiated by me and one of our interactions led to an argument and me pleading to be friends at some point. We hadn’t spoken for a few weeks after that but 4 weeks ago I contacted him about rumors of him dating his ex again. He denied it and came off really rude so I ignored it, but then he texted me again 6 hours later accusing me of talking about him on my twitter. I responded then he didn’t respond and we haven’t spoken since. But he has made it aware on social media that he is talking to his ex again and his life is complete and he is so happy. Should I just let him go and move on?

My ex and I dated 18 years ago, never had sex back then. 4 years ago we found eachother online and I decided to go to England meet him. An year later I was leaving everything behind to make a living with this man. I left my dayghters with my parents for 6 months so we could have everything ready for them. They arrived at the same moment I was giving birth to our daughter which is 18 months now. October 2017 we decided to return to our country Portugal. As our problem was me not trusting him I threw him out 3 times. The 4th time it was for good as neither of us wanted to be hurt again though we loved eachother... We broke up on 9th February. Few weeks later he was with his ex from 13 years ago... Feels like he wants to live everything he has lived with me with this ex... Mine and her first name it's the same and the last just changes the last 3 letters... I mean... What should I think of this? He spent the last 3 months in mind games, saying he wouldn't ever get back to me, that he was happy but wanted to kiss me one last time, he asked to hang around, to have coffee, a splif... He said that was his way of saying that he would come back and that he didn't because I didn't had an attitude towards him... then we agree to have sex but with no expectations. I prepared the night of his life and I told him it was a way of me apologizing my share of the blame for our ending and that we could now live our lifes. He used that as an excuse for him to wear a ring now... He blamed ME!!! Has he ever loved me???

He deleted our photos after we broke up but then that girl photos are still on his account ( i was not insecure at that time so i don't mind those photos) but now he just deleted me that quick but still kept his ex photo? He broke up with me for the second time and both times, he immediately got in contact with his ex but the first time they just talked and she got in a relationship with someone else. He went back to me for a year and two months and 2 months ago he broke up with me again and he never contacted me. He said he would never go back to her and i am so much better. But i guess actions speak louder then words. I did not make any post break up mistakes. I also don't fit the 'rebound criteria'. I feel betrayed, but I wonder if I still have a change with him...

Problem is we are about to have a kid. I backed off to work on me has changed. I stopped focusing on her and put it on me and my soon to be son. Only contact has really been about the kid. But now she has been talking to her other ex other kids dad. So it's tough she post about him. I am confused because she reaches out to me and him. My partner moved out n went back to his ex's place to live. My partner n I are still a couple after working things out but he said he wont move back in with me. My partner said there is no sexual contact with his ex n i have to trust him. I do ! But it does my head in he lives with her n not me. She has more time with him than me. I believe my partner has bipolar n gaslighter. So does his mother as it runs in the family. He has a gental sole. We have become alot closer n enjoy each other more. Like a new romance igniting. Hi, I was in relationship for 1year. Once of a sudden, after a little fight, my boyfriend told me it's over. I thought it was my fault. And then days after, he said that he's in love with his ex and he is getting back to her. He said that he never loved me during this 1 year and he felt only friendship for me. But I feel that it's not true cause he was really jealous, didn't let guys talking to me, he was very caring, loving and protective to me. I know he would not be the same with someone that he considers as a "friend". Now he really got back with his ex. I felt very bad. The ex girlfriend also talked to me and mentioned how much they both loved each other and that I was the problem that prevented them from being back together after they broke up 1year ago. What should I do please? I really love him and want him back so badly. But in his head, he is convinced that he loves only her. Do you think that the no contact rules will work? Or any other advice?

Hello i have been with a guy for few months but we had a big argument and we split up. Idk if anyone will read my comments since this video is from 3 years ago but I will just comment it here. My ex broke up with me and got a new gf very quickly but then after three months he came back to me with saying sorry about hurting me like having a new gf right after broke up he said he shouldn’t have done that but then he didnt want to get back with me he just wanted to hangout with me and do the things he used to do during our relationship so I stopped him with saying I still have feelings for him and I dont want to be friends like this so if you change ur mind let me know or whats up with ur mind and he said he will let me know if he changes his mind and thanks for being honest but then I just found out that he went back with his ex few days ago.. I just dont know what to do I know I need to move on but then its still hard for me to move on.

My ex and I broke up about 2 months ago she’s been seeing someone els who I though she left me for, and she’s been seeing him and saying how happy she is etc etc but she still messaged me and I’m still in no contact so I try to reply as little as possible we saw each other once and it was great but then the next day she spent the whole day with him and messaged me when she was done with him , so I re started no contact which sucked but she’s still seeing that person what els do I do now ?

Hi Jose, thank you for sharing. If you are "replying as little as possible" you are not implementing "No Contact" well. The operative word is "NO" Contact. That means absolutely no communication. Or else, it would be called "Slight Contact" - Coach Steven

Hi Coach I failed to be there for my ex when she reached out to me ( I did the exact opposite I pushed her away and cut off contact) and she hasn't spoken to me since I did try contact via one email and two separate texts but with no response I haven't tried again. I am writing her a letter as a last way of establishing contact when I send it it will be about a month and a half since she spoke to me am I doing the right thing? Andrew Honestly N/c was not good in my case. I had to rebuild trust with my ex-h ( married 10 years) as a friend. I'm not sure that works well for everyone. I've had to be patient for over a year as a friend, but focusing on renewing myself. So far I've outlasted the "friend" he left me for. We're not dating but we do things together with our daughter.

Add me to the club. I'm not sure I am going to be able to trust anyone again. I was never given a chance, though, looking back. Not after she caught wind of our relationship, anyway. Over two years and sitting with him (scared to death that who I thought was the love of my life was going to die) in the hospital before and after open heart surgery and getting to know his kids. Dumped on Christmas Eve. "I know our (with the ex) relationship is unhealthy, but there is still something there... I'm sorry." She is so toxic I fear for his life. Used and discarded. I hope they make it work and save the everyone else in the world from their toxicity. I don't want anything to do with him again. I am just trying to understand so I can move on.

Hi Coach I broke no contact at Day 25... eversinced he dumped me he has been viewing every single one of my snapchat stories... I reached out with a light hearted message,he responded immediately & after exchanging afew messages, he went silent again. I didnt chase text nor tried to chat further.
