Well, you certainly do have a low tolerance to THC. Looking at that though you've spent just under $600 for what about 6 weeks at your dosage? $100 pw absolutely out of reach for those on disability or any pension actually then we have to add in the consult fees and follow-up fees which you did not mention at the start regarding your experience seeing a Medical Cannabis DR. Also would have been helpful to point out how frequent were your follow-up appointments, how much are you charged for obtaining a new script etc., then discussing your overall expenditure and what ongoing costs you have to maintain to give ppl a clearer picture of what to expect. With the green market I've been on 40mg pd raw CBD paste and 100mg THC oil for cancer treatment, sometimes 1g pd flower of unknown strain or strength😂 it's still expensive but it seems far more expensive to sustain going legit. Hey there, thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Yes I do have a low tolerance to THC and don't need a lot to get the beneficial effects...but that's just me. I agree that going down the medical pathway is expensive and cost prohibitive for many people who really need it, and I fully support exploring green market suppliers who are ethical and selling high quality products. Hopefully from our videos and content you can tell we try to give people information and education on all access options available ✌🏻🌱
I was also shocked at the price. My psychologist has recommended MC and I'm beginning to investigate Dr and pharmacy options. Any advice regarding cheaper options is greatly appreciated. Thanks from Brisbane

It’s all good until you get rbt or roadside drug test and lose your license for six months then do it again for a life ban of driving. The government has still not changed the driving laws
MC Its not an option at the price they charge, I also had to try 4-5 different strains, cost me thousands and the product were weak & ineffective. I now by street cannabis its much cheaper I can also sample it first before dropping hundreds on second rate flowers as some work for me others don't. Its unfortunate that the suites & ties have got involves so its all about profit.
Hey Joel, glad you found the info helpful! The drug driving laws are ridiculous, unfortunately there's no exemptions for MC patients. If you get pulled up and test positive you'll likely be fined/charged the same as someone who has consumed cannabis illegally. There's also two charges - detection and impairment - so even if you are not impaired but cannabis is still detected in your system from a day or so ago you can still be charged. The greens recently tried to bring a bill to parliament to review drug driving laws but it was shot down 🙄 This website is an awesome resource for MC patients & driving www.drivechangemc.org.au/
You are very easy to listen to and Thankyou for making this video. I’ve just also been approved for medical cannabis at alternaleaf. Your video helped me speak to doctor as I also have a very low tolerance to thc and so I referenced your video :) I’ve been given a few different scripts and the mighty medic vape, the company for the scripts is called circle labs. Very expensive, hope it’s worth it. Fingers crossed

There's a number of reasons why it's still so expensive. It's still a relatively new medicine (in the eyes of the medical establishment and government anyway) and the cost of importing and/or local production and manufacturing is expensive. As the industry grows more suppliers will enter the market driving price competition. Finally, there's only one medical cannabis product listed on the PBS. I believe a medication needs to be patented to go on the PBS, they can't patent a natural compound. So until they develop synthetic cannabinoids it likely won't be subsidised. It's really backwards and doesn't provide fair and affordable access for so many that need it.
Hey Anna, some people do experience digestive upset such as diarrhoea when consuming a CBD and/or THC, some people with GI issues may also react to an MCT-based carrier oil. Heavy cannabis use may lead to dependance in some individuals, however, CBD by itself is not addictive and while you probably won't experience 'withdrawal' symptoms, you may find your previous symptoms reappear i.e pain, insomnia etc. If you're experiencing any digestive issues with your MC products, def follow up with your doctor about it ☺
@@annap1191 During cannabis withdrawal some people report having vivid, crazy dreams/nightmares. It's highly individual, some people report no dreams and others report crazy dreams. So it is a possibility.
I've been prescribed thc specifically for nausea. If you're new to cannabis I'd probably medicate at home with someone ur comfortable with. If you've ever been drunk, that's far worse

I dont think the legal is organic at all ive been a farmer for more then 40 years and what they call organic is questable and the price is to high its all about big business making macscamion profit
I'm Australian and just got the 100:1mg cbd oil with 1%THC and I've smoked pot once in my life , thought I was gonna die .. I got the drops from doctor . And I've taken .50mg and I can barley feel a thing . My oil is from little green pharma . Doctors don't know what there doing..
