I'm going to be a junior this year!! I'm not a new kid but last year I ended a lot of toxic friendships.. I got my schedule for this year and found out I don't have anyone in my lunch period I can eat with. Last year I would go to the library which was fine but my social anxiety is making everything seem worse than it is haha. This video actually helped a lot, so thank you!!

So basically you had friends and then you had those associates. The difference is that friends stick by you and you have a long-term relationship throughout the school year. And then you have the associates, people you would speak with for example you walk pass them in the hallway and you say hey and move on, and you might socialize with them occasionally. For example, there's people that I would spend a day with because their friend(s) would be absent. So its like, you don't consider them your friend but they're not an enemy or someone you just don't like. But you weren't popular or a loner you were neutral.
