In my opinion, Chrissy being sweet and nice made her death way more impactful. If she was mean like Angela I would not have missed her or cared about her death.
It was kind of a shock to see Chrisy be killed so early. I liked this portrayal of the “popular blonde” versus the many shallow ones we’ve seen on TV over the years.
I honestly couldn’t imagine Chrissy being played as mean after seeing your performance. You were the perfect addition to the show and I’m so excited to see what you have in store for this channel 💜

I’m a young screenwriter who decided to start this career watching Stranger Things and getting inspired to write a series like this one but settled in my hometown. Would you like to read the pilot I wrote and give me your honest opinion? The title is “Super Days”: Ezio Filga, a 14 years old kid, with heavy family problems, is kidnapped in a stormy day, while trying to escape from school in a panic attack, by a mysterious bird-like figure. He wakes up in an abandoned lodge, where is located a glass case containing a futuristic armour with wings on the back. Ezio is greeted by a strange man, who can anticipate everything he is going to say or even think. That’s because the guy is actually Ezio itself, coming back from the future, in order to change the flow of events in his favour. In the meanwhile, a group of his classmates (Antonio, Veronica, Mattia, Vincenzo and Alice), accidentally find a hidden facility under their school, which hides the deep secrets of one of their teachers. They are gonna use what they found, in order to search for Ezio. Thanks for being yourself! 🙏
I wish more people would do this sort of thing in the acting space, it was so interesting to hear both your perspective of things on set of Stranger Things and just how everyone else is too when we only know them as their characters its very interesting to hear about this was so worth the watch
Everything will become a performance and they will find a way to heavily profit off of it. That's one of the downsides of when good thing get mainstream, they turn into a business.
Ikr I love seeing the real and human side to actors and musicians... I'd rather see them as people outside of their roles than just see their face as nothing more their characters.
I was actually a background extra this season and got the opportunity to be in a couple of scenes with you. I was a stand-in for Caleb in the pep rally scene and then an extra in Max's hallway scene where Runnin Up That Hill plays. Honestly, best experience of my life. And getting a chance to see you acting literally like 5 feet away...chefs kiss! You were ACTING acting. Rent was due. 11/10 performance.

I wish Chrissy stayed on ST for longer. I’m a big Hellcheer shipper too because their chemistry is so good. I do love that Grace and Joe Quinn are great friends. We all love a good friendship between actors.
Chrissy came across as genuine which is why IMO she’s such a popular character and why her death affected fans so much - it pulled us all into the plot and made us care about Eddie. That whole scene in the woods made us all care and get attached to the characters. She seems like she was the one popular girl who was popular because she was genuine and nice and “just happened” to be a cheerleader- which brought all the usual trappings with it - there’s always at least one girl like this in every school back then. Chrissy would not have worked played any other way other than the way you portrayed her. Can’t wait to see more on your RU-vid channel 😊
They're doing an Animation adaptation of Stranger Things and I would *LOVE* if Grace and Joseph came back (with them voicing the characters) in that series. In, in animation series, anything can happen, *INCLUDING* their resurrections. 😊
Your performance as Chrissy was so beautifully heartbreaking, and the chemistry between you & Joseph was fantastic. Establishing that bond between Chrissy and Eddie was so important for the season, and you two nailed it.
Chrissy’s sweetness and vulnerability were the keys to her character. Kudos to you for seeing beyond the mean girl stereotype, you played her perfectly.

Grace is such a kind and genuine spirit. Her career should be exploding right now but I honestly hate that Hollywood head just like to sexualize upcoming women talents and take advantage of them. The fact that she was sexually harassed by a producer onset!! Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking. I hope her path still takes her to great things because she’s an amazing person and artists
I went as Chrissy for Halloween 2022, and I made my own costume. Chrissy resonated with me so much as well, and I'm so glad that you played her as a sweet popular girl, contrary to the stereotype. I used to be a cheerleader when I was a little girl (sadly I wasn't able to continue it during high school) but I loved the cheer nostalgia Chrissy's scenes gave me. The forest scene is the cutest and I relate to Chrissy so much, and I just wanted to thank you for bringing her to life
Grace, you did absolutely amazing as Chrissy and nobody could replace you. When you think of a popular cheerleader in a movie, you think of a mean girl, but if a mean girl died then nobody would have been sad and nobody would have cared as much vecna is killing people. So you playing Chrissy as a nice person really made the plot better and really made us viewers feel sad when she died.
I'm not usually a fan of the "minor character introduced to the audience in the same episode in which they die to establish the mystery", however I honestly loved Chrissy, she was so sweet and you played her with such vulnerability which is a testament to your acting ability. Your chemistry with Joseph (Eddie) was off the charts and it really home when you see her die because she honestly could have been a major character, judging from her nightmare sequences there seemed a really interesting character that could have dived into deeper but alas. I also remembered you from Greenhouse Academy, so seeing you in Stranger Things was pretty neat.

I didn't know about you until I've watched ST. Then I saw you and it was like 'love at first sight' kinda thing you know what I mean. I felt so warm to Chrissy because as you mentioned she wasn't mean or conceited or anything, on the contrary, she was so sweet and kind, and I didn't even know that you were not acting but you were just being yourself until I have found your Twitch channel a few months later ST was released. I don't get to watch your streams very often due to timezone difference but I have managed to catch some of them and that's why I say you were just being yourself as Chrissy. It feels like they’ve made a very healthy filming environment. I love how the young actors are allowed to improve. I’ve known of Joe from his short scene in Game of Thrones. But seeing him flourish in this season was beautiful. The guys is truly a gem. His acting and personality just work so well. Not only that, I love how you all hung out with each other and spent off set time together. Really cool.
