In this video I share my my experience with Escitalopram (Lexapro) after 3 months, along with why I decided to stop taking it, and have since tapered off.
Escitalopram, sometimes known as Lexapro, is an SSRI antidepressant, commonly prescribed for depression and anxiety. I decided to get on it, and during my Escitalopram experience I initially experienced some benefits, like slightly decreased anxiety and an increased number of lucid dreams, but soon things took a turn for the worse..
Long story short, my experience with Lexapro / Escitalopram was NOT great, and I was in a much worse place while taking it. In this video I go into detail about my Lexapro experience and how it negatively impacted me, as well as the (minor) benefits I saw.

hey man have watched and loved your videos since the very beginning, it kinda feels like I made this journey with you, in a way. I sincerely hope you'll feel better again someday. When I get my next paycheck I'm planning on buying your products man, I feel like I should give something back for how much your channel has meant for me

Sorry to hear about your anxiety. Walking and running help. Increase by degrees. I took anti depressants and got aggressive and couldnt sleep. Ive bipolar like highs and lows. Take topamax and mood very stable most of the time. Ive horrible migraine. Recovered once i got the right preventative. I take diazepam for acute migraine with solpadeine if i do get a bad migraine.

I wish you the best in everything you've been dealing with. It sounds like you've had a bit of a rough last few months. I hope you are able to start feeling better and getting back to what is normal for you. I've had that low energy, down and out feeling before, and it absolutely sucks. I'm looking forward to listening to more content from you. Cheers.

Some herbs are better and healthy. Like St. johns wort

I actually went with St John's Wort before I went down the SSRI route. I found it helped my energy levels a little but didn't do too much for my anxiety and I eventually had some side effects that made me come off it. It's definitely one of the better supplements I've tried though, alongside a couple others like NAC and Agmatine.

How about hops and lemon balm? For me its high intensity training, Mike Mentzer style. It feels good to get stronger and its good for testosterone, which alleviates stress

SSRI are not good medications. You'd be better off trying a TCA antidepressant. They are older from the 1960s but work a bit better than the new ones. The sad thing about newer things is that they often dont work as well as older things

I have lucid dreams consistently when I want to n I’ve had at least 50-80 lucid dreams since 2020 while lucid dreaming off and on. I never get to enjoy them tho cuz in every single one of them, my eyes get heavy n I end up falling asleep in the lucid dream. I’ve tried everything I can think of to stop it but it keeps happening. I’ve tried to not worry about it in the dream, I’ve tried repeating to myself in the dream that it won’t happen, I’ve tried drinking coffee in the dream to make me not tired, I’ve tried dream stabilization techniques but nothing is working. When I fall asleep n wake up in the dream I lose lucidity. Anyone know how I can stop this?

I can understand your troubles with anxiety , I passed too through that I had mild paranoia too :( all those shite can be undone through change of diet (KETO AF) and through potent mefitation so on the latter BTW have you tried the monroe's Gateway experience? id does miracles.

Have you considered that you may have a nutrient deficiency? Vitamin D is a big one for people with anxiety n such. Also im not a big believer in the synthetic versions of vitamins. They help. But make effort ti get the real version of it through food and drink. ViT D magnesium Zinc and B vitamins coukd do a lot to help you. Worth a shot i would say !

I had a really rough time a year ago and it was due to lack of vit D. Sorted easily with some mega doses over the following weeks. Was really suprised how much of a big deal it was.

Hey brother, this is a tough journey, we all given differnet lots in life. Your drive to continue fighting inspires me. Can I ask, have you been feeling any dissociation as a result of lucid dreams? Do you think that or prolonged internet use has contributed to your anxiety? Have you tried not using electronics for a month and spending as much of the day outside in nature as you can? These things have helped me personally brother. God bless you.

Also have you considered joining a monastic order, ashram, or some kind of temple? It's clear you have spirtual propensities, given your ability to lucid dream often, perhaps you are better meant for that kind of life and you will experience richness and vivid realizations there. Whatever the case may be I wish you nothing but the best.

Glad to hear you're doing a bit better! I've been struggling with similar issues/social anxiety also. Really hoping to get on some kind of medication to help or find a way to overcome my personal problems soon.

I hope both of us can find our way to the other side of the things we're struggling with. Wishing you the best. I'm undecided but I'm actually somewhat tempted to make some more mental health related content, discussing things from my personal journey, to medications and therapies, to what has or hasn't worked for me and such. Though if I do go down that route it might end up on a second channel rather than this one, I'm unsure as of yet.

Glad to hear you are getting better. Make sure to speak out your feelings. Do not suppress them. Giving them a for of expression (to yourself, or others) can release some, if not all, of the pressure.
