so I built mine out originally with Durock linear teal switches, GMK laser r2, Drurock v2 Stabs. I liked the smoothness of the Durock linears but the dark housing did make the leds seem very muted and did not sound good on the brass plate. I ended up switching to the Tecsee Ice Candy switches lubed but not filmed and it sounds a lot better with them and with the full clear housing and stems it made the board glow even brighter. great board for a mid tear and definitely would say its a must for the look and price but not beginner friendly to anyone not use to building keyboards as they do not give directions on building. But if you look up build videos like this you can do it easily.
Thanks for sharing your experience as well! It was extremely enjoyable to build this board but it just seems to need quite a few certain aspects or aesthetics to get the absolute most of this board. I’ve used both switches you have, as well - and I agree! Which Durock linears btw?
@@jepsei i used durock smokey greens with the 62g springs since they were the only ones avalible at the time i ordered it. I had lubed and filmed them and on my other boards they sounded more deep and thocky but for some reason with the acrylic and brass they just didnt seem to go well with that board.
