In this video, I discuss my experience with my LG C3 after accessing the hidden service menu. Intro: 0:00 The Good/Examples: 2:33 Example Results: 5:18 Is It Worth It?: 9:12 Possible Alternatives: 10:40 LG C4/Outtro: 12:39
I think you are only getting all that messing around because of the first time you went into the service menu, in my years of experience with LG I never went to SM the way you did, it's set something up during that process you did initially. You only need do the Instart and put the code in. Also Instop probably won't do much to your findings. I really hope you get where you need to be with it all, it's sooo frustrating lol. Ty as always for the vid QS.
First off, appreciate you watching and commenting! So the difference in experience here is new webos vs webos 22. LG locking SM behind factory mode has made going into it less appealing (just as they wanted I'm sure). On my C2 that has been updated to the new webos, I've went into the hidden SM, instop reset (accident trying to get rid of the factory mode banner), and went back into the hidden SM again. The same multiple steps are still required after doing it once.
@@Quik_Sand_TV FYI on the C2 GSR ABL are both ON if you dont enter factory service menu. So C2 users who use the c2 as a pc monitor have NO CHOICE but to deal with the 30 second lock out. IUIf you go back into user mode yes it resets your settings it also reenables both GSR + ABL
