Awww, Thank you so much! Yessss! Dropcloth is my absolute FAV to work with. I'll be publishing a fun dropcloth video tomorrow, creating texture. Be sure to check it out!
Wonderful wardrobe with a creative flair. You have given us lots of good ideas for drafting our own unique patterns. Using drop cloth is a brilliant idea so you do not have to worry about perhaps ruining expensive fabric.
Aww, thank you. I love to inspire others to create unique pieces they are proud of. I’m happy to help. Dropcloth is my go-to, for most projects. I love it! 🥰 Thank you for commenting. Hugs!
Aww, thank you so much! Drop cloth is a dream to me; I love working with it. I recently made work pants for working outside, and the overalls are next! I'll make sure I share it. And, I agree it would make a fabulous jacket, too! 🥰 Thanks for commenting.
Aww, Thank you for the compliment. And, thanks for commenting your favorite. Although this top was my most challenging [because I didn't plan] it's one I'm most proud of.
LOL, Thank you so much! At first, I used drop cloth as muslin, but then I realized how much I love working with it and wearing it. It's being budget-friendly is the best part!
I loved looking through your makes, such a wonderful collection of garments. I was inspired by your color scheme, and I really appreciate that you showed us the various outfits you created with each garment, that was so helpful and nice to see how each garment fits into your wardrobe! Kudos on all the self drafting too!
Michele, the dropcloth is so inexpensive; you can literally get 6 yards of quality cotton cloth for cheap. Keep me posted if you end up creating something fantastic if you decide to get some! Thanks so much for commenting.
Thanks for commenting on your favorites. Yes, this skirt is a little flirty to wear, and I love it. My husband can't stop feeling the puffy exposed seams when I wear it! LOL, silly man.

Aww Thank you so much! I'm so happy you love it! Soon I will have a Step-by-step tutorial how I made it, so keep an eye out, you can make one too! Hugs! 🥰
Hi, thanks for commenting. I don't do anything special to prep the drop cloth. Before working with it, I wash it in very hot water with detergent and a full dose of fabric softner. It shrinks and softens up quite a bit after one washing and drying cycle. I'd rather get all of the shrinkage out of the way ahead of time. The more you wash it the more it softens up. I use 100% cotton drop cloth from Amazon. I prefer the natural color instead of the bleached drop cloth. However, If you wish to bleach to brighten or whiten, or color-dye your drop cloth it's best to have it in 100% cotton. I found non cotton drop cloth won't whiten or hold color well. Happy Making! I hope this helps! Hugs.
