In this story, the villain won. Also, title is misleading, There was no cheating BF with bestie. More like HIS bestie cheated him and took his girl.

The FL was obsessed with Gu yanjin not love coz she won't be caught in the midst of their battles bt it's also fair in love and war .

WTF, poor Gu they all did him wrong. I hated his character at 1st, till I heard the twist in the story. Andrew is a bad friend, & the FL was too cold hearted. How could she not feel ANYTHING, after finding out that he did it all to protect her from being attacked again? She found out that Gu had suffered as much as her, & that they were both wronged & were both victims. So how could she be so unsympathetic & cold hearted with him, even in his last minutes of life. I understand that his words & actions traumatized her. But after finding out the truth, she didn't hold Andrew responsible for building their relationship based on a lie (or unspoken truth), & targeted her resentment solely on Gu. Gu trusted his friend with her safety, while he dealt with the people that posed a danger to her. But Andrew took advantage & took the girl from under his friend. That's messed up, & I would say that Gu should've told the FL what was up, from the get go. But he needed her to resent him, & stay away from him. In order for him to keep her safe. Hurting her this way, was the only way to keep her at a distance.
