Saw you post a le labo fragrance on your story, would be cool to see what fragrances you’re into as well! Maybe some pieces of art/furniture that have caught your eye too? Banger as usual
This is one of my favourite videos you’ve made. When I started watching this channel it wasn’t for clothes only but culture as a whole. This video did very well going back to those roots. City of Gods is a very good recommendation. I’ve watched it a few times and still love it. I have to see The Game. The concept of the movie sounds interesting. I personally recommend The Prestige (2006) for those who like mind-f*ck movies.
From what I’ve seen from some of the anime boot-making community, they use a mixture of salt and water in a spray bottle and coat the tee in it before leaving it in the sun to fade.
An hour warm salt water bath on the tee then leave in the sun for a few days or a week or so, get a spray bottle with regular or warm water and spray down every now and then when you go to check on it so the fading is uneven
City of gods is so great. Managed to dodge quite a few foreign movies for some time, one of my film nerd friends showed me la Haine and city of gods, and I’ve gotta say I have been missing out.
I love the media recommendations! I just watched Vampire Hunter D and the sequel Bloodlust and so I'm super into vampires rn. I'll definitely have to read Dracula
For some weird reason youtube gives me your videos, and has for afew years. I sometimes watch them just to see whats popular when it comes to maybe selling products on ebay or grailed, however, this is my first time commenting. It's crazy how the late 90s rod ferrell basement dweller aesthetic is popular and expensive too. My friends still dress like this even over 20 years later but they would laugh at you for paying $300 for pants lol... anyways...I enjoy that you were able to pick up a vintage SP tee. Long live Dwayne! xoxoxoxo
Hey Owen! Since watching you style Carti to Somar is amazing. Either way regarding the dyeing of the t shirt I am doing my Master in textiles some course work is in dyeing. I could recommend quite a few things but I'd love to know what tools you have available because its not too hard to make it more washed out and vintage looking if that's what you're going for. I could drop you a report that I did about it if there's any interest. Anyway love the vids, enjoy your week!
I follow you for a quite some time but just now I remember to ask this. THOSE GREYISH CONVERSES, that's basically a white converse which has been dyed in some way, or are they dirty and stuff? I don't think that's a real colorway so, any tip to have a result like the ones you have?
@@OwenHyattNooooo😆💀 sn whatever do you lmao, yo but what’s up with that tho is it for whenever you go out you have something to eat with or is it stickly for style no hate just curious
If it was like a year ago then it was mine but if it's been in the past few months can't be the same car hahah. Literally had to fill out export forms to jpn and it was loaded on a boat
@@OwenHyatt yup like a year ago lol Any new somar bags on the horizon? I use my Plato tote like crazy! More than I anticipated actually and it’s holding up beautifully through the abuse lol
if you liked city of god make sure to check out pixote from 1980. another crime masterpice from brazil that isn't as well known as cog but just as good.
