This frustrates me too when people say ‘your parents are horrible if they make you pay rent’ I just see it as normal once I’m moved out I’m going to have to pay rent/ or a mortgage and it will be a lotttt more than what I’m paying now so why not get used to the responsibility 🤷🏻‍♀️🤯

Because it’s your parents house...I don’t really see the sanse, like you giving many to your parents for rent pretty unbelievable for my point of view and how I grown up...(but if you can tell me the sanse I will maybe get it) about letting you pay rent at all if you muove out it’s a completely different things, means that you have the many to pay rent.. that you are not normally having before otherwise you wold have moved before...for the fact then when you have to move you not gonna be able to endle it and take responsibility makes not sanse to me, you gonna learn it then why now....and if you work while you are staying at your parents house means that you are not financially stable, so you should save for your future life not to give it to your parents ahah wired (like open my mind about it because it’s soo confusing to me...)

@@marialetiziamontaldo8538 I literally pay £40 a week I’m not exactly breaking my bank am I, and you don’t know my financial situation actually so before you start going into that I suggest you stop. I’m still saving money whilst paying them a tiny bit of money so that I’m used to having responsibility nothing wrong with that at all. You don’t need to get so worked up about it when it’s not your life 😂😂😂

@@JessPike16 I don’t know, I may be wired but I don’t see the sanse of it, but I think that’s because I’m from an other Country so I grown up differently, and I wold never ask for anyone fiancé ahaha. I’m of course not talking about you in particular but in general I wold never judge anyone personal life, so maybe my massy message before may been misunderstood don’t know. Anyway I did my research and I find out that’s pretty common in UK in the past years, and in rare case in USA, but not in the rest of the world of course with some exactions. I think I’m soo confused about it because in my country it’s not “normal” or I mean not even close to common. But that’s interesting to know that everybody is different and every country also, about certain things.☺️

they were all talking about the rent thing really quite harshly. not everyone can afford to pay rent at your age, i’m earning minimum wage and there’s no way i could pay rent. it made me feel quite stupid

Difference with not paying your parents rent is that you can always be sure you have a home to go back to. I’d never ever think about charging my future kids rent.
