well actually there was this other group of tourists at the fort who was playing this music on their phone and i just happened to record it while filming. i just copied the sound from that clip and used it as bgm for my voiceover :)
There are a lot of beggars in Kerala, most of them from Tamil Nadu. It's not as clean as you might think, especially in cities and markets. However, villages are nice, especially during monsoons. But in summer, it's almost unlivable.
Well, a malayali commenting this trying to hide as a foreigner. You'll see beggars and lit here as well, unless you're satisfying your blind ego. State has it's own pros and cons and saying litter doesn't exist in Kerala or our lottery system just shows all your half baked knowledge
I missed you all so much. It's wonderful that Annika has had such a treasured 3 years in her upbringing before the next environment. Wishing you all the best with that Johanna. Keep well. Much love to all of you. 💋❤
Oh what a BEAUTIFUL video. ❤ Johanna it must have been a shock to the system to move from Kerala to Mumbai. Esp after seeing all that beautiful greenery at the fort and living in nature. Hope u are ok and adjusting well.
@@JohannaNorth all the best Johanna. You are such a beautifully natured woman and that comes across brilliantly in your vlogs. Yes I guessd that the move was due to Vinod's work. Vinod's job has taken you guys on some adventures. For example, it gave you INCREDIBLE stays at the Taj with the view of the India gate from the room. What wonderful luxury and a month full of memory making. Also it's taken you on some not so great journeys to places where you are stuck indoors for long periods of time alone with Annika. And now a major uproot from Kerala to Mumbai. It's amazing at times but detrimental at other times. In England we call these types of situations swings and roundabouts. Your life is one big adventure, esp with Vindo's job and also being a foreigner in India with a small child. You are incredibly blessed to have Annika and such a long stay at the Taj. And then there's the opposite end of the scale where you are indoors for long periods of time with a little one and also needing to leave Kerala. But life is a state of impermanence. Yes definitely enjoy the Mumbai adventure, as nothing lasts forever. Namaste and Blessings Kas 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Welcome back my Johanna sis ❤ missed you all so much guys... Let's go🎉,Do you like Mumbai is it easy to adapt in the fast pace city culture and when we are going to see new house (Mumbai ) tour sis..?
We’re still in the challenging times of adjusting and settling into our Mumbai life. For people like us, who prioritise being out in nature, and a quiet, peaceful slow life, it takes a huge conscious effort to create a that vibe here. But we’re trying and i look forward to sharing content on how we achieve that 😊 I’ll have more time to work on videos once Annika soon starts school!
@@JohannaNorth I'm dying to know why you moved to Mumbai. Must be for a very good reason given that you loved Kerala and the slow life nature setting. As Mumbai is the polar opposite to Kerala, the place u adored
@@travellingyoginikas well Mumbai is great in some different ways, but I don’t think we would’ve necessarily moved here by our own initiative if Vinod’s job didn’t require us to. But I think we’ll have a great tenure here too once we adjust and settle in 😊 we won’t be here forever either so better enjoy while we are!
What a gorgeous place!! Thank you for sharing this experience with us. The entire area is so lush, green and the proximity to the sea makes it even more amazing. Would definitely want to visit Bekal fort on my next trip to Kerala. Lovely to see you, Annika, mom and Vinod ❤
I'm glad to have you back. The video's main character, Annika, is just as lively and naive as Mother Nature! Would you mind creating a video centered around "A Memorable Childhood Day of Annika"?
@@JohannaNorth Thank you, It was Annika who suddenly caught sight of a 60-year-old retired school teacher with her innocence and innate love for nature, caring for every petty thing. It's not only cuteness; it's pureness. I really appreciate your efforts and the hard work you put into making videos.
You should also try Mahe ( used to be a French colony ) my hometown that is about 90km from your place, there are some good hotels and pubs ( that serves craft beer ) to explore .. check out the river walk and beach .
We’ve travelled through Mahe several times, stopping there a few times too 😊 not much exploring though even though it was on our Kerala bucket list. Now after relocating to another state it’ll probably take a long time to accomplish a visit there 🫣
It's soooooooooo good to see you all again!!❤️ I cannot believe you have now relocated to Mumbai. I know you love Mumbai as well and have probably settled well by now but honestly my heart ached a bit thinking about the beautiful scenic location of your home in Kerala and of course the magnificent views. I’m glad you have made some amazing memories there and will always have lots to cherish from your stay in Kerala. Cheers to new beginnings 🎉🤗
Bonjour la famille. J'étais contente de trouver votre nouvelle vidéo ce matin. C'était un plaisir de la visionner et voir Annika grandir. Quel changement de passer de Kerala à Mumbai !!
I guess being a multilingual kid is a blessing and a curse at the same time. It has its pros and cons. But Annika manages it extraordinarily. This tourist spot is fascinating. Only a blue celestial sky and blue sea are missing in these parts of India. Take care, Johanna 😘
Annika is lucky to have natural linguistic talent to support her circumstances 😊 but every situation has its pros and cons, varying by the individual. As a child, I found it to be a curse to be born to a very small finnish town, and probably wouldve loved to be multilingual if I knew such thing existed. At least I got to start learning several foreign languages at school at the age of 9, in addition to what I learned on my own much before that. Now I do of course miss my hometown, and would love to be raising Annika there, but for 30ish years I always wanted out 😅
I will try my best, but it might still take a little while for my schedule to get easier. Looking forward to Annika's school starting, so I can work more :)
Where have you been all these while? Have you moved out of kerala permanently? Please give your new life updates and please post videos more frequently ❤
It's lovely to see you all again. I hope you are enjoying your new home in Mumbai. Have you left Kerala for good? I'm looking forward to all your new videos. You all look so happy and well.😊
It has been over 10 years since I visited Bekal"linna". Back then they didn't have gaurd rails in the steps leading to the tower. So it was a lot more scary.😮 At Nandi Hills near Bangalore, where Tipu Sultan had a fort, there's a steep long drop named " Tipu's Drop", where enemies of Tipu were condemned to fall to their deaths. Tipu has given me an idea...I'm going to Bekal once more with all my annoying relatives to do the same.....a perfect place to dispose the evidence...
Good luck for my mom and Vinod they were behaving well that day 😏🤭 i dont think my mom wouldve done the climb up without rails. Even i mightve been scared in the middle of the crowds 😅
