This dark chocolate pear pie is surprisingly easy to make. It has been one of my family's favorite pies for many years. It is tasty, beautiful, it has a lot of juicy sweet pears. The taste of dark chocolate harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the pear and the light aroma of almond petals. Be sure to bake! Once you try this pear and chocolate pie, you will bake it again and again!
Choose slightly underripe, firm pears for this pie, as the pears soften and release juice when cooked.

▪ eggs - 3 pcs.
▪ sugar - 180 g
▪ odorless vegetable oil - 100 ml
▪ milk - 50 ml
▪ Greek yogurt or kefir - 125 g
▪ flour - 250g
▪ baking powder - 10 g
▪ salt - ¼ tsp
▪ pears - 4 pcs.
▪ dark chocolate - 70 g
▪ almond petals - 25 g
READY:
0:09 Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces with a knife. Peel the pears, remove the seeds, cut lengthwise into thin slices.
1:09 In a deep bowl, break the chicken eggs, add sugar and beat with a mixer in a lush, light mass.
1:33 Pour in vegetable oil and milk, add Greek yogurt and mix with a mixer.
1:57 Add the sifted flour and baking powder, salt, again quickly mix with a mixer until smooth. It is not necessary to beat the dough, it is enough that all the ingredients are combined.
2:26 Add chopped chocolate and half of the pears, mix with a spatula.
2:45 Grease a 24 cm baking dish with butter. If you have a springform, line it with parchment paper so that it goes over the sides of the mold, as the dough is quite liquid and may leak.
2:59 Pour the batter into the mold, arrange the other half of the pears nicely on top of the batter. Sprinkle almond flakes on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 55-65 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer.
3:47 Let the finished cake cool. Transfer the cake to a plate, cut into portions and serve.
