Doreen Nyawira Muchiri raised in Nyahururu, Gathanga as the first born.
Being the first born and getting into music while her parents wanted her to become a career woman with an 8-5 work was a big challenge for her. While at the age of 21 she had a conversation with her parents about joining the then biggest musical tv show Tusker Project Fame which made her record her hit song “Muciari.”
“After getting into the show I didn’t know how to carry and handle fame back then.” Nyawira shares while asked why she went missing after recording the song 10years ago.
