The lyrics are so deep, like I'm reading a poem. Also I never expected this to have a choreo Mingi has a way with words. I love this song. This stood out for me the first time I listened to the full album. Love Yunho's vocals.

Youth as turned out to be my favorite song from the album. This video is so beautiful. Some things it looks like you missed: At the beginning it shows them looking in the window at their younger selves from Diary Film: Mingi with the cut on his face, picking fights and tuning out the world with his headphones, and Yunho mourning his brother.

This is also my favorite song off the album and boy, the dance is very artsy..is how'd I'd describe it (but, that lip bite from him tho 😳). Otherwise I got emotional haha

I cant pick a fave unit songs because i love them all. 😭 But i agree this mv is beautifully shot and they both look so beautiful too. Quite sad song and i glad mingi always has yunho by his side. 🥺 Didnt expect the choreo as well but we cannot not having a choreo with the main dancer here. 🤭

At the end of 2019, Mingi took some time off in order to get help with his anxiety. During that period, he started to write the lyrics but couldn’t finish them. Yunho helped him finish the lyrics and Mingi got input from the rest of the members too. He had a lot of different versions of singing the song. The car in the mv…. Is related to the lore i think…. His younger brother dying in the story…. Its related to the diary film… He really wanted to express what he was feeling 😢❤

I LOVED your reaction!!! I totally cried the first time I watched this video. Youth is my favorite unit song, too (and Silver Light is my favorite OT8 song on the album, just like you!) and that's saying a lot, bcause Ateez is my ult group and I genuinely love EVERY single song in their discography... and Will is a MASTERPIECE album and I love every song on this new album, too, but there is just something about Youth and Silver Light that both touch my soul in a way that's hard to put into words!!! Youth is a very beautiful and profound song, and sometimes Mingi doesn't quite get the credit he deserves for how AMAZING a lyricist he is. His rap bars and songwriting is super deep and oftentimes super clever, too, with layers of meaning and a play on words. And Yunho helped put the final touches to make this song even deeper. I love Mingi's vulnerability and his beautiful heart! His singing tone is so underrated and gorgeous and emotionally stirring, and Yunho's vocals are both haunting and heavenly. Yunho's vocals and his incredible range are underrated, as well, in my opinion. The colors, imagery, and cinematography of this music video are stunning. The choreography is fire and has that definite "Ateez sexiness" to it, but somehow it still fits so perfectly with this song. The emotional pull and storytelling is so captivating. Mingi and Yunho's acting abilities are top tier in the video and the song and mv are PERFECT in every way!!! Hongjoong said that all the unit videos will have lore sprinkled in and I see it so well in all the unit videos so far, and its so clever and thought-provoking. (Think back to the Diary Film and so much of the storytelling in this video is also a call back to that). I am so very proud of all the members and LOVE all the unit songs and mv's (so excited for Jongho's, too!!!) They did their first unit songs at the perfect time in their careers. I am so happy they all got to participate in the songwriting, too. I pray that all Atiny & everyone keeps streaming their videos and the album like crazy, because Ateez deserves the world!!! Their passion, talent, hard work, and their hearts are like none other. I love them all sooooo much!!!
