When my first dog passed I thought I would never be okay again. It has been over 2 years but it still comes in waves. I just have to remember that I miss him so much because I loved him so much, and hopefully whenever I cross over we will be reunited.
The fact James Marsters is a talented actor, talented musician, talented writer, and he’s a reader??? And hot???? My heart burns for him. I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost a cat a few weeks ago and before that my soul cat passed this past December and you should never feel bad about taking all the time you need to grieve. Just know your love meant the world to them and you did your best and your furbabies know it.

i’m so sorry Meg, a pet loss is never easy, they’re family and love us unconditionally, only expecting the same back, and that’s the most beautiful kind of relationship in my opinion. i’ve gone into deep depression when i lost my last dog and i feel you in a deep level. just know that whatever your belief is she was loved and cared for and even though i’m agnostic i do believe there’s a beautiful place where they go and watch over us. they deserve eternal happiness and part of that is seeing us being happy too. i know it’s difficult to get there and takes way too much time, but our love for them will always prevail. and i still believe i can feel the love of my last dog to this day, even if it’s been eight years. my other pup is by my side right now and i never felt more of unconditional love and support than what she and my late pupper have given me and continue to give. i’ll have you and your kitten in mind whenever i feel love, and i hope you do the same. they are love creatures, and that’s what we have to focus on. take all the time you need to heal, and know we are all here to support you. so much love for you and your family! also never apologize for grieving. cry, scream, punch something, curl in a ball, do whatever you need to do. but remember, your love for her will always be with you 💜 🖤
I’ve only recently started watching your channel and I’ve finally found my person! Your tastes are the EXACT same as mine so I’m intrigued to watch more. I did skip over your pet loss section as I too have just lost my 8 year old bunny. It’s been two weeks and it has got easier each day. Just learn from me and don’t try to push yourself through the grieving process. This was the toughest video to watch. This exact time last year I had to say goodbye to my sweet english setter, Ella. It was so painful & heartbreaking, & I still miss her every day. Im so sorry for your loss. I lost my best dog friend in 2023 and it still hurts so much. It was sudden, and I had to say goodbye to the best 9 years with her. You are so allowed to be as sad as you need to, because processing grief is hard and complex and it hurts. You did everything for Rora, she must have loved you so much ❤

I’m so sorry for your loss! Really feeling for you as we lost my dog just before Christmas. It took me 2 months to wash the hoodie I wore when we said goodbye to him and I still have a single hair of his in the back of my phone case. Just know that she knew how much she was loved 💕

My sweet soulmate kitty was diagnosed with cancer in spring 2022 and we had to say goodbye to her in February 2023 after only 7 1/2 years with her and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through and such a hard choice to make, but it’s such a gift to get to say goodbye and know you helped them find peace. That knowledge doesn’t help much at the beginning, but eventually, it will be comforting. The process of putting them to sleep is so peaceful for them, like it feels sad for us, but for them, they’re just finally not in pain and so happy to be in your arms like that. You did everything you could and loved her so much and speaking from personal experience, you’ll never stop missing her, but it will get easier ❤
I’m so so sorry for your loss. I’ve lost two pets within a few years and it’s so hard but just remember you did the best thing for her and helped rid her of suffering. And being a caretaker is really hard too so take care of yourself and allow yourself to rest. ❤

I lost my beloved kitty earlier this year and it was extremely hard - I feel you! Something that the vet told me at the end that gave me so much comfort is that we are lucky with veterinary medicine that we get to choose when is best to let go. It was obviously a very hard decision but I knew I was making the right decision for his and my happiness especailly with an incurable disease. Sending you so much love and light! oh my goodness i’m so so sorry about your loss. it’s so hard to deal with losing a pet and watching you cry broke my heart and made me tear up. i lost my cat when i was 16 and it still hurts (i’m 22 now). but the good news is that it gets better with time. the pain never fully goes away but it does get easier, i promise. it’ll all be okay and take as much time as you need to grieve!! we’ll all be here to support you in the meantime 🥹❤️
Im so sorry for your loss! Both of my cats got sick at the same time at the end of 2022 (one kidney disease and the other bone cancer), we always say they were in love. They died 3 months apart. I had one of them since I was 6 years old. They were 17 and 9. I said I would never have another cat again and got rid of all of my cat things because the pain was unbearable, and on the one year anniversary of the second cat passing I adopted a new cat who is helping me heal. It is so very hard and you are so very strong.
I hope you're doing ok after everything. Losing a pet is the worst because they become family, and it's heartbreaking that they don't live as long as we do.

megan, i never comment on peoples videos but listening to you speak about the loss of lovely rora shattered my heart. i work with rescue cats, and my dogs is sitting next to me as i write this, and simply thinking about anything happening to them rips me to shreds. you are so beyond brave for dealing with your loss so strongly; the loss of a pet who showed you endless love would be unimaginably painful and we are all with you. i really hope it gets better but i know it wont come easy. never ever apologise for grieving please, and we love you so much

Aw Megan I am sobbing with you as what happened with your cat sounds so similar to what happened to my girl in 2022 and it always feels like there wasn’t enough time. I got 10 years with my gal and I still come home expecting her to run at me, pet loss is so hard and overlooked but everyone handles grief differently- it does get easier though just love the other babies a little harder as time is precious 💜💜 sending big loves x

I'm sorry about your baby kitty. It's so hard to lose a pet. I lost two dogs several years ago and was devastating. I still feel their loss but I also have all my happier moments and I'm so grateful to have had that time with them. Animals are so amazing to have in our lives but we only get them for a short time. Please be kind to yourself during this time. The grief is real and valid.

I lost my pet around the same time 2 years ago and though it has gotten easier, I still think of him every day and often cry over how much I miss him! But time really does help heal 🥺💖 I hope you can still enjoy your summer and get back to feeling like yourself soon!!
I'm glad you were able to give her so much comfort during her last days. It meant so much to me that we were with our dog during his final hours after he rapidly developed a fatal condition.

Something that helped me through it is the thought that for him to no longer be in pain, I have to be instead. I hope that makes sense! I’m so sorry about everything going on in your life.
