Gerard! Thank you so much for introducing this. I just got one, and I am in love with this fragrance. This is the type of summer scent profile I admire the most. Speaking of summer scent, have you tried Tommy Hilfiger Vibrant Summer? That's one interesting new release. It smells like Pina Colada + sunscreen. I feel like it will be best suited for the summer at the beach!!
The Fakhar kinda makes me think I'm at the mall. The sweet part comes across a little heavy, could easily become cloying. I've been layering with Black Walnut Legend. Would love to know if that works for anyone else.
DHI is easily in my top 5. So beautiful! I, personally, get really good performance, too. I need to pull Fakhar Black back out. I got it a couple years ago, and it's just been buried in the back of my fragrance cabinet. I do remember liking it!
Hey man! I'd be super curious on your thoughts on perfect wedding day/special occasion fragrances. I'm getting married this fall and have been struggling to find something that I not only like for a sophisticated fall time scent, but something I like enough to reserve it for only those occasions and won't be tempted to want to wear casually lol. Might be a fun video idea for your picks for different times of the year!

i had the same experience with lattafa fakar, i was getting a card for mothers day and i had about 5 moms complement it 😭 so def a big hit for older women
My take on fakhar black. The first time I smelled it, I immediately liked it. Keep in mind I'd never smelled ysl y edp. I got an authentic sample vial of y edp as well as a 10ml decant of y edp. Let me cut straight to the point, they do smell similar but imo, the ysl y edp smells just of more quality than the lattafa. So I sold the lattafa. I never bought a full bottle of y edp because of its reputation of being a young man's fragrance. Fast forward to now, I've recently repurchased fakhar black. Now that I've sampled the full ysl y line, fakhar black just doesn't cut it. My last time wearing fakhar black I picked up like a saw dust type of aroma. And I'm totally into that. Very good vibe to get from a fragrance especially at this price point. But again now that I've experienced what it's inspired by I just want the real thing. So I'll probably buy a bottle of ysl y edp when I come across a good deal or the timing is right. As a person who appreciates quality perfumery that isn't just looking to be noticed or get all the compliments, the original is always better than the imitation.
Totally can see it from this perspective. Especially where you have experience for both but I have definitely bought better clones than the original before.

Very good review! Vince camuto homme intenso,Eros flame,just those 2 only for the week.i think Dior homme or sport would definitely be better for date or gathering,I've heard a lot of stories of alot of women not liking that Iris note! Especially if their not use to it! Intense or PARFUM better think twice,a guy was selling his new bottle on offer up for 80$ said girl friend didn't like,he was out of state so I don't do shipping etc or would of try to bought lol. Great video's.

Can you try the fragrance name in bold on top the day of the week for the lower left graphic. I can always see the day you wore it but that’s less important to me as the fragrance name that I can’t always read
Fakhar is not even remotely close to YSL edp. I absolutely hate it. I have both. All these Lattafa fragrances have an annoying drydown. You get what you pay for.
Maybe I went a bit overdramatic there lol. I do like the opening but the drydown isn't for me. I'll have to take off my shelf again and give it a try again this summer.
Just bought Esencia EDP 😂 Your always costing me money…in a good way brotha… how could i not, 7 Cobalt is fantastic so I’m sure this one will be as well 👊🏼
