Fantastic video, presentation, and ENTHUSIASM! I use a lot of Dizzy Pig products, and have been expanding my rubs and seasonings, slowly but surely. But, it's apparent to me, while I got game doing my slow cooks, medium cooks and grilling, I think I need to pick it up a bit in the seasoning and rubs department. I must try some of your recommendations. Saw one by the meat department in a competing grocery store, that you recently did chicken wings with.
The Meat Church makes plenty of fine products. The Heath Riles - Jalapeno Garlic is an excellent base seasoning for smoked meats and grilled meats. Your content and information is great. Thanks for posting!
I've been watching you videos for a while. Congratulations on your growth and that awesome Lone star smoker! I have the Hog Waller, Voodoo, Gospel, 6 of the Heath Riles flavors, the Bovine, the Yardbird and all of the Malcom Reed rubs. The Hog Waller is awesome!! My favorite on chicken in actually the Moe Cason chicken rub, have you tried that one or the Competition Rib Rub( that and the Hog Waller are my favorites)?

That Holy Voodoo is good to use to salt the rim of your Margaritas. That stuff is Awesome! One day I'm gona get me some of the It's Incredible. Your always using that stuff. Thanks for sharing. Always looking for new stuff to try. I use alot of Kenny's Spices and Fat Boy Rubs.
I’m gonna have to try Kenny’s and Fat Boy rubs. The it’s incredible is definitely my go to for everything. Holy Voodoo to rim a Margarita….Sounds wonderful!
Nice assortment Dski. I bought the "It's Incredible" after watching your show and I agree it's one of my favorites. My other top pick is "A fine Meat Rub" by Chupacabra rubs. All of their rubs are great. My other top pick is Red Dirt Road by JB's Gourmet spice blends. He is local to me here in SW MO but has a website. He is a friend of mine that I used to work with before I retired. My other two top picks are "WOW" and "OG" by the American Pitmaster Company. They are fairly new to the market but they are two of my favorites. Arnie Segovia is who came out with both of these. There are many more that I like and use a lot. I have a stupid amount of rubs because I like trying out new things. LOL.
Nice video. I’ve used a couple of the rubs from Meat Church, especially Holly Cow on briskets. My go-to pork rub is Blues Hog Original. Guess I’ll have to try Sucklebusters now!
Thanks so much for the review on your Fav Rubs...... gonna see which ones I can get, being on the East Coast, hope they ship out this way. One of MY favorites, by a big name commercial company.... McCormicks "Smoke House Maple" Seasoning. I absolutely love this on Chicken, especially a Beer Can Chicken (done on my Weber Performa) and a nice Salmon Fillet. I find this particular seasoning just has a great affinity for both these cuts. Also pretty good on pork. Bought the "Vortex" off your recommendation.... my last Beer Can Chicken was done with that and the Smoke House Maple. Good Eats for sure !!
Kind of kicking myself when I went to visit a friend who moved closer to me ( only an hour and twenty minutes away now ) stopped and looked at I think a Lowes which had a Vortex, or Vortex type product, didn't buy it and then, the next day, I catch your Vortex chicken wing video. I will have to order one, none around here. Got the low profile slow and sear for my Weber Summit Charcoal, along with the cast iron skillet/drip pan recently, and they rock!
Well, I got three of em, will have to try out the Sucklebusters since they they got the gold and silva. I recently posted about reaching higher temps on the offset. Not to lead you astray , but I know the V-baskets are great tools to keep you in the 225-75 zone and I even found it hard punching through. Given that you have way more mass than me on your offset I'm thinking maybe it's designed on yours to stay within those parameters. I know if I pull the V and use the flat raised floor I could go much higher, but would be attending to it much more.
Always good feedback my friend. I'm going to remove the V channel basket on my next chicken cook and see what I get. I really like to smoke chicken at around 325 to 350 to get that bite through skin. I'll let you know how it turns out. Have a good weekend.
I came back to this video to view ur favorite rubs ; even tho it's a older video ( 3 months )... U said something on this video that caught me by surprise & that was u said that sum of ur favorite seasonings are/were in the back of ur cabinet... I'm the same bruh when it comes to my rubs... I normally jus go thru the cabinet to see what I'm low on & walah I find seasonings all the way in the back..I then hav to bringm back to the forefront & make sure I getm back into rotation... As always u hav AWESOME content...Really gotta put in a order for sum HEAVEN MADE PRODUCTS 👍
U won’t be disappointed in heaven made products. Everything I’ve gotten is top notch. The only one I didn’t like was the brisket rub but that’s only because I don’t like sweet brisket. But everyone else that ate it, absolutely loved it
DeWayne. Just like Felipe said, you can't go wrong with HMP rubs! I'm hooked and I'm sure you will be also. Michael is soon coming out with more rubs and even grits!! Looking forward to doing a review very soon once these items are made available.

Great reviews. I would say though that you need to re rank these on a Grilling cook VS. a low and slow Offset Smoker cook! I think your result may be the exact inverse of your rankings.
Your videos are how I discovered and ordered most of the rubs in my pantry! Question for you. How often do you make your own rubs from scratch vs using these?
I've been lazy as of late and really depend on the rubs shown on this video. The only rub that i will not compromise on is my brisket rub. I think i have something really special there. Thanks for checking out the video!
Have u tried any kosmo q rubs?? I haven’t yet but their rib glazes are next level. My favorite is the cherry apple habanero rib glaze. I can no longer cook ribs unless I have it.
I really want to try that The Rub G Cue. I wish they accepted pay pal. Do you know where else to get it other than their website? With that, I have tried them all and find my way back to Killer Hogs the Rub. I like Blues Hogs competition blend for sauce.
Hey man. Have you ever tried any rubs from Fire and Smoke Society? I have tried a few of them and they are all great so far. I’ve used a few on my channel, so I’m curious as to what you think. They are available at Walmart, if all places.
Awesome video, glad to see HMP made the top ten, I need to send you some of my Jalapeno It's Incredible, maybe it will replace the other Jalapeno Garlic rub that you mentioned. Your selection of different seasoning flavors is great. But I'm really shocked at this point that you don't have your own patent blend of seasonings that's totally your own. I'm not being cheap I buy my seasonings spices in bulk and despise my own flavor profile 4-H meet and then all-purpose blend because I found out over the years when you buy name brand seasoning that quality tends to slack off either they put more sugar or MSG or more salt in it
I don't believe so., The Texas best rib rub from heavenmade products is still my go to for consistent flavor that's always repeatable. It's what I use when I have catering events and it never lets me down.. Hope this helps
