Just like I made a video of my favorite NCS releases, here is a list of my favorite Disciple releases. I have been listening to a lot more Disiciple, especially listening to random albums while studying. Hope you enjoy!
I was really active during Disciple end of 2021/2022 which honestly those years we spectacular (only reason I followed 2021 was because Monstercat releases during the time were really hit or miss) But here's some songs I want to recommend to you: Fox Stevenson - New Amsterdam: My favorite FS track ever, it just does everything right with having really solid performance and a drop that feels so nostalgic. Modestep & Dr. Ushūu - Diamonds: 1 of the 2 song that the 2nd drop shines the overall idea of the track alone. This track definitely made me drop a tear just because of how it was some of Modestep final tracks on the label (Also want to include their collab with Virtual Riot "This Could Be Us" another great track from them) Sharks - Shattering: Listen to the song 1st before reading this cuz the mixing on the 2nd drop is honestly some of the best I've ever heard. Barely Alive - Imagineer/Let It Spin: I don't think you're gonna enjoy Let It Spin but the song might be has some of the most memorable idea from BA ever. As For Imagineer i think this might be his best ever with godly progression and a really nice vocalist Last but not least the Alliance Comps ( Mainly Vol 5, 6, and 7 cuz the rest are really just outdated stuff (4 is a mix bag)). Vol 7 gotta be my favorite but the other 2 are really on the same level
Barely Alive’s most recent disciple EP ( forgot the name) is straight fire and I’ve been replaying all the songs practically everyday. F around, let it spin, hopped out, and crash landing hit hard.
fyi: with song strucutre, there iis no such thing as an off-drop. Typically a song structure goes like this for bass music: intro -> buildup -> drop 1 -> breakdown -> buildup -> drop 2 -> outro This isn't necessarily the only way people do things tho, it's just the most common way most bass music producers do it. For example, Simulation VIP's song structure goes like this: intro -> buildup -> drop 1 -> a section -> breakdown -> b section -> breakdown -> buildup -> drop 2 -> outro
Unfortunately not, closest I found was a Titans by Aero Chord and Razihel rip off with the statement: “Jesus rise” before the drop. Actively looking though and if I make music someday, I have a Christian edm ideas.
@@renzstudios649 I'm looking forward to your music then. Titans is already on my playlist and i didn't even realize xd I found pretty good remixes of polish carols, but I don't know if you are interested. And also there is a project called "Keygen Church". Its not EDM, but pretty interesting idea of combining pipe organ and piano with heavy electric guitar, purely instrumental. It's motto is "praise the code", but i guess we can praise the God as well while listening.
