hey everyone just wanted to say thank u so much for the love on this video!! i wasn’t paid to make this sadly but i’m glad my love for the camera has spread so far! you can check out my work on my website and insta if you’re interested (: ❤️ love u all
I love how you broke down every aspect of a pretty simple camera and went super in depth. Especially for the aperture explanation that most people wouldn’t know
thank you SO much, i've been wanting to get into film photography but theres so much information online and it can get a little overwhelming. this video was so amazing and you explained everything is such a simple way. i just ordered one and i'm so excited because i'm moving away for college soon and now I can capture memories with my new camera! thanks again
That was such a well done, natural but informative video! I've been looking for an inexpensive way to get into film photography for the longest time now and I didn't even know these existed until I found this video. Just made my order for one too!
Thank you for this super informative video! I've been trying to do research on this camera but I couldn't find too many videos that explained with detail but you told be everything I need to know Lomography should definitely sponsor you
With disposable film cameras I do remember that my mom used them allot throughs my siblings and I childhood so when ever I do look at these kind of cameras it's like it does bring back some memories
this is perfect for young people like me who just want to make nice picuters with friends wenn going outside with spending to much and alway having to worry that its going to break
I'm looking into a disposable to take photos of my dates with my boyfriend and I was searching so hard for a comprehensive video or post about this camera and what the difference was between all three, and this video is so informative and helpful :)! I also initially discovered this from your tik tok months ago but waited til now to look into it; amazing video thank you!
i’ve rewatched this video like 30 times hahaha bc it’s so great, thank you so much, you’re doing a great job, i’ve been struggling with an slr and i wanted a simpler camera and now i have the information that i need :)
Thank you so much for posting! I've been shooting film for about ten years now, and I just recently got the Lomochrome Metropolis (same camera, loaded with their more muted/grittier looking Metropolis film). I love how easy and user-friendly it is, and the gels for the flash are a really cool touch as well! I can't wait to see how the shots I took turn out.
Loved this video . Your tik tok video on this camera is what got me intrested in film cameras!!!literally cant wait for the next vid!!literally was looking foward to watching th his vid all week
ahh thank you so much!! such an informative video!! mine just arrived and I’m so excited to use it :) I was scared that I wouldn’t know how to reload it but I’m relieved now after watching your video
i have a question ! do you have to use those color things ? like what if i don’t want it in a certain color and just yk like a regular picture ? would it still come out right ?
@@li_lac3227 you don’t have to use the color things!! They are just there as an added feature. Without using them you get a pretty standard film photo look :)
just bought one and i’m so excited! mine i think is newer and is a brown color. it’s loaded with “metropolis” film. thanks so much for this video, it was rlly informative and i can’t wait to start shooting!
thank you so much natasha !! this video was so helpful and i love how you set up the chapters that really focused on every aspect one could wonder about. great vid :)
Thank you so much for making such a great video!! It's so well produced and your explanations are thorough, it really seems like you put a lot of though into everything. Wish you all the best and thank you once again for this super informative vid!!! Love from Turkey
Have you gotten any of the photos developed? I’m planning on buying it but I’m wondering if the developed photos are sent digitally or can you get Polaroid like photos. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question I don’t know anything about cameras 😅
Thank you for this video. I remember seeing your TikTok a while ago and sending it to my friend :P I've been looking for a simple point and shoot for a while now so I can just chuck it in my bag instead of babying like my SLR
Great video, the best one on my new camera so far. I've been shooting film and digital for (ahem) quite a long time but recently wanted to put away the DSLRs, SLRs and vintage rangefinders and try something plastic and cheap. Mostly for nostalgic reasons, and I am having fun with it. But I am curious about something. You mentioned taking one along for quick grab shots because it's light and pocketable. But if that's the case, why not just pop out your cell (mobile) and lighten the load even more? I know this is more fun but when you do want to travel light, why take a camera at all? Thanks again for a fun watch!
Very well explained. I've been considering getting back into shooting some film with one of these, like you I have other fancier cameras but like the idea of having something cheaper that I don't have to worry as much if I lose it, or can keep in my car when an opportunity presents itself, etc.
this helped so much thank you!!! you explained everything so well and I was able to follow everything as someone just wanting to get into it to make memories with friends!
I actually bought 2 of these cameras (1 for me and 1 for my friend as a bday present) and then I saw your tiktok a few months later!! :) I really like this camera, I like the color gels so much but I haven't developed my film yet to know what my photos are going to come out like haha. I think that's the fun of it all :)
This is really really helpful, I’ve been wanting to get into shooting with film for a while but don’t want to use disposable because I’m trying to minimize my carbon footprint, thank you so much!!
Just bought the Metropolis version of this camera and I'm trying out my first roll now! Thanks so much for the comprehensive explaination of how to rewind- I was pretty confused looking at it haha
unfortunately i found your video after i put in a new roll of film into my simple use camera, hoping for the best, but now i know what to do once i run out of captures on this roll which i will be less attached to if they come out wonky😅
I've got a similar one to the one you have at hand, and that made me glad. I first went on the Lomography website to seek tutorials, and yours deserve to be there; this made me more than happy with my purchase and ready to take shots. Thank you Nat 🤗
Have you used this camera with other films apart from the original one ? If so, which one have you used ❤️ loved the video. This camera is exactly what I was looking for
this is such a great video ! thank you so much I recently bought one and I think this is gonna be really helpful ! I just had one question though, when you showed those pictures that were shot outdoors did you use the flash sometimes or not at all ? And also what's your advise on pictures taken indoors with people not really close to the camera ? Thank you so much and keep going
I just bought one because of your tiktok! Could you share how you got those light leaks on some of the photos? Or if you have a favorite brand of 400 iso film?
Lillian Mattimoe kodak is my favorite brand probably! kodak ultra max and kodak gold are some favorite color films of mine. kodak tri-x and ilford hp5+ are my fave b&w ones. (: As for the light leaks those were accidental !
Thank you so much for this review. It helped me to decide if I should buy it, as I want a 35mm camera as an addition to my Diana (it‘s using 120 roll films), what is me current point&shoot camera for daily use.
