I appreciate the genorisity expressed by you, your father, Teresa, Jo and Billy. Your family has had a life and experiences unique to them. Sharing those times with the rest of us is a gift I treasure.
Elvis singing that Unchained Melody 🎵 is so beautiful, powerful. When I was little, about 7 or 8 (Elvis was still alive at that time) I thought Elvis only sang 3 songs. Love me Tender, Hound Dog & Don’t be Cruel. Later when I heard all these beautiful songs Elvis sang I was so impressed. In the late ‘90’s my Dad would give me a call & tell me an Elvis movie was coming on. I would go over and we would sit and enjoy that special time together watching Elvis. It never mattered to me which Elvis movie it was. Me and my Dad enjoyed it. I am thankful Elvis did these movies.
These videos with your grandparents will be such a treasure for you and Laney one day. I wish I had asked my grandparents questions about their lives and recorded it. Thankyou so much, Danielle!!! We've enjoyed hearing your answers to questions, as well. ♥️
Gee you’re early today!!! Alway good to see you. Elvis had to have seen rainbows 🌈 in Hawaii. Elvis fans appreciate you keeping the channel alive while we wait for Billy to heal. Continued prayers for the LORD’s touch on him.
I love 50's and 60's music too, and of course, the great man himself, the one and only Elvis! My dear mum absolutely adored him, and I grew up listening to all that fantastic American rock 'n' roll. She passed away two years ago, and we played his beautiful version of How Great Thou Art at her funeral. My dad passed away 44 years ago, so she was a widow for a long time, she was so loved by her children and grandchildren. I love hearing about your family and all their Elvis memories - it may sound strange but somehow it brings me closer to my mum and I thank you all for that. Very best wishes from Bakewell, in Derbyshire, England x
Thank you so much to you and your family for letting us fans enter into your family's life for awhile and knowing the truth about our dear Elvis, unlike others who have frankly disparaged him for money. I have not seen the elvis movie because I am 86 and so Elvis's generation, and I saw on TV and movies, the real man and experienced the fantastic rise if this innovative man. As far, as the Priscilla movie, I will never, ever watch that disgusting, lying false depiction of our dear Elvis. His music has brought me so much joy and that is all I need to know. Again, may God bless you and your family for giving us the truth.❤❤❤❤
All I can say is, Danielle, Billy and Jo, thank y'all for all that you do to keep memories alive for all ages of people. The truth is what people get from listening to y'all. God bless y'all and always Take Care of Business ⚡
Love your videos . . . miss Billy & Jo (they are so real & down to earth folks). I love to hear all their stories about their time with Elvis . . I know they share what they can, and keep some stories & experiences with Elvis private. This shows how much love & respect they have for him and his legacy. Love all the Presley family and appreciate y'all! ❤
Hi Danielle. You're doing a great job!!!!! Thanks for staying in touch with us Elvis fans! You're so sweet! Please let Billie and Jo we are missing them! Hope Billy is well soon. We all love Danielle!!! ❤❤❤❤ 16:00
Hello Danielle, so glad for you to pop on this morning!!! You look so Pretty!!! Thank you ❤ I got ALL of ELVIS ' music... I listen to him everyday.. I have Sirius x m in my car ... so I have ELVIS music everywhere!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING he sings!!!
Elvis family I lost my 21 year old son last night do to a hit and run accident, I'm lost of words. I played Elvis music all day today and I hope my poor son is dancing with the angles. I really need some prayers . I love you all❤
Hello Jason, Sending prayers, may God bless you and your family and help you find peace and happiness as soon as possible in your hearts, minds and souls. ❤ Grace and Alain from Canada
I hope they do write a book. They could just sit down with somebody and verbally tell their story start to finish and a ghost writer could take the voice recording and turn it into a book. If they feel weird making money off of Elvis’ story, I’d say think of it as leaving a legacy and history for their grandkids and great-grandkids. The money could even be held in trust for the grandkids or something. Everybody has written a book, even Linda has now. I think Elvis would be so happy to see their voices join in to tell his story.❤
I totally agree! I think Elvis would want his truth out and there is nobody he loved and trusted more than his cousin Billy❤️ it would be so great for his legacy and the world could finally have the truth. Billy is probably one of the very few remaining people left on earth that can tell us the truth about Elvis without lying and he was there from the beginning.
Danielle your doing a great job keeping this channel going. We truly appreciate you continuing to do these videos .. Thanks again for another great video Love your favorite elvis songs my favorites are suspicious minds, how great thou art, and unchained melody
Danielle, I did such a double take you look like a young beautiful Gladys. The dark hair looks great on you!Thank you for all you do and your wonderful family. Hope your grandfather is completely healed and feeling much better😘
@@efmelvisfansmatter1129 thanks for replying Daniel! You look way younger. I assumed maybe 33😉 keep up the good work! We love EFM! Speedy recovery to ur grandpa Billy❤️
That was so sweet you saying you felt famous. You really are!!! And I loved you saying how your understanding has changed over time. That's so true ❤❤❤
I love Elvis, so please do not take this wrong, but they were dealing with a man with an actuve addiction- as a recovering person (14 years now!!) - I know mood swings, and saying things you do not mean, hurt feelings, etc. are a part of any human with active addiction. As wonderful as times were, I can guarantee there were times that were just as hard. I appreciate that Billy and Jo have remained loyal, and have kept so much private to protect his legacy. Love you all!!
I'm glad they have you to help them with the program. You are fun to listen to and I think you are a lovely young woman. You are a wonderful granddaughter.
Hey Darling!!! I so enjoyed this - Your such a sweetie!! Thank You Your Dad Theresa Billy & Jo for sharing all these stories About Elvis - Means the world to us!!! As a child it was Always Elvis & Country Music in our home - My Daddy was a huge fan!!! RIP - For Me as a Teen It was a Mixture Of 80's Music Country Heavy Metal Big Hair Bands Soft Rock Pop - but as I got OLDER My Appreciation for Elvis just grew and grew - I'd borrow My Daddy's Elvis records / and LP'S My Aunt's too!!! I had a Small Compact Turntable -- Hugs
I've enjoyed listening to you talk about yourself. Big Shout out to us in Louisville Ky. Can you tell me/us more about what the connection was that Elvis had to the area. You are a blessing to them I no this because my grandbabies are my blessings.
Please write a book...fans need to hear your perspective of all the years you were with Elvis........we would definitely love to read your comments!!! ❤
I love yr hair up sweetheart, so pretty. Love all u do setting up these video’s. Thank u soo much. Lov U, Billy, Jo & Laney too. God Bless each one of U. Adorable, Danielle.. U felt Famous!!!!
Hi Danielle! Thanks for keeping the channel going while we wait for Billy to get better! I love how you applied your eyeliner. How about giving us a demo??? ❤❤❤
50's 60's is my favorite music eras too. Do you ever get melancholy thinking about the time towards the end of Elvis's life about his illness and dependency problems and/or his sadness/depression? I get very sad when I think about and how so many people took advantage of him with Parker at the top of the list. I do not ever call him Colonel as he was not and to do so is a slap in the face to those that really are and have risked their lives to serve our country.
i l❤ve Suspicious Minds. as my mother and my aunt bemoaned "losing" their teen-hood 50's idol and yapped in the car over the song on the radio, my cousin and i were singing Suspicious Minds at the top of our lungs (we were a noisy bunch 😂 and my cousin is like my sister, our fathers were twins!) all love to you and your papa and nanny. to health + happiness 💕
I hope Billy & Jo write a book about their life . . . it would sell!!! Billy has been with Elvis from the very beginning, longer than any of the Memphis mafia, Colonel Parker, Priscilla, subsequent girlfriends, etc. so his is a very unique perspective. Also, Jo's perspective is unique also since she knew Elvis personally from a very young.
Danielle Thanks For All You Are Doing. You Look So Beautiful. You Remind Me of Elvis's Beloved Mother, Gladys. I Was Wondering How Each Of Billy's & Jo's Parents Thought About Them When They Were Dating Each Other? What Also Were Some Of Their Favorite Things They Liked To Do Together & With Elvis. Prayers Continuing For Your Dear Grandpa Billy. 😇🙏💕
I can totally understand how Billy and Jo feel about going down memory lane and riding an emotional hard roller coaster of emotions and flashbacks of memories if they decide to write a book, I saw Jo tearing up once in a video saying how hard it is for her to go back in time and relive everything. I know Elvis could be very selfish at times and very hard to live with and I am sorry for everything they went through. Elvis was a troubled and tortured soul, with a fame he never expected or knew how to deal with and nobody around that understood him, feeling deeply lonely especially with his mama gone and lost twin. I always say you can have a thousand people around, but if nobody is like you and you can connect on a deeper level you will feel lonely, it‘s important to have somebody who is like you and that understands you and Elvis didn’t really have that. Sometimes I feel like he had borderline personality disorder but I don’t want to diagnose him of course. It would still be great if Billy and Jo could publish and write a book and set the record straight after all the endless and nasty lies that Priscilla has told and changed the narrative to push herself, it would be great to have the real truth and then to have it for the rest of history. They would do it for themselves and mostly of course Elvis, to get his truth out because I think Elvis would want that, to have his truth and the real him to be out as it will be a big part of history for decades and decades to be able to be read by everyone. You have a beautiful family and each day I am so grateful of you guys‘s existence and that Billy and Jo are among us and I wish deeply they will stay with us much longer❤️ I hope they can think about it again and perhaps publish a book about the truth and their story, it would be fundamental for history no doubt. I wish you and your family a wonderful weekend and I hope Billy recovers quickly from his surgery and that he gets very healthy again, he means a lot to me❤️
That would be awesome if they wrote a book. I usually listen to 60s or 80s channel or Sirius. My top 3 Elvis songs are 1) "If I Can Dream" (Have it even tattooed on my arm; I have 4 Elvis tattoos), 2) "Suspicious Minds" and 3) "Unchained Melody".
I think it would be to hard for them to write a book, cause I see the sadness in their eyes when Billy tells the stories, you can see how much he misses him. 😊
It would be a entertaining and interesting book if they did write one. Definitely would be exhausting to decide which stories to include. I know that reliving the past doesn't end with the conversation. God bless you Danielle and your family. Prayers for Jo & Billy'.
Hey Danielle, Would you all think of doing a crowd funded / Gofundme /Patreon Film / Documentary…. “The Smiths” film from your family view point… I think many would fund it and make it happen… all these other films are really not serving our Elvis well ✨⚡️
Picking a favorite Elvis song is hard, but my top three would be 1) If I Can Dream 2) Unchained Melody and 3) Just Pretend (I don't think this is as well known, but I love it!)
Daneille i understand completely im their age my daughter died in 2013 years later i can talk about her but not for too long it starts me crying and drains me emotionally He changed their lives and they loved him
Hi Danielle lots of great songs from the greatest to ever do it but mine is a song I wish this world we live in now would really listen to. If I can dream is my favorite song of all songs not just Elvises. It inspires me to never quit dreaming and hoping for myself and for peace and understanding everywhere.
Daneille you and you’re grandparents billy and jo I think you do an amazing fantastic job and I love 💕 those stories about elvis and elvis fans matter I love 💕 elviss music and flims 6:21pm my favourite elvis songs would be suspicious minds jailhouse rock wooden heart
Danielle, did you live with your grandparents or spend a lot of time with them growing up? I ask because you have so many of Mrs. Jo's maneurisms and facial expressions. (I was raised by my paternal grandparents, so I love watching the three of you together.) TCB⚡️ & Roll Tide! 🐘❤️🐘
My daddy gained full custody of me when I was very small. I lived with nanny and Popaw & daddy. When he remarried, I stayed with my grandparents. :) Lived with them until I was 21 and got married. I’m very close to my nanny (Popaw & daddy, too) Nanny has been my best friend!
@@efmelvisfansmatter1129 I love that and understand more than you know. My grandmothers were my best friends and lifelong cheerleaders. Not a day goes by that they aren't missed - one of the many reasons why I adore your videos!
Also did Billy as a kid ever follow Elvis around when he was trying to walk with a girl or any older friends and did Elvis get him or bribe him to leave. I came up with this because my husband from a poor family would aggravate and follow his three older siblings they would give him a dime to leave. I thought that was so funny. But maybe Elvis didn’t mind which is is it
They should write another book and set straight Priscilla’s lies. This is important history and once everyone’s gone these “history books” will be all that’s left, the music and the books.
@elvisfansmatter I also love unchained melody. Be sure to check out Ronnie McDowell's version. He's the one who sang all the songs in the Elvis & Me miniseries (which I loved).
If you ever write a book, you should call it “My Cousin Elvis”. If it’s successful, maybe they will make a movie about it someday starring, I don’t know, maybe, Ralph Macchio and Marisa Tomei. Who knows. It could happen! 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t think it’s necessary to put Billy & Jo through stress in writing a Book. I try to put myself in their shoes, seems like it would be almost unbearable.
