@@therealmosthated oh I actually pay for Presonus Sphere so technically I didn't get this for free, I just got it early. Sweetwater did sponsor the video but this is a product I already paid for!
Thanks for the video. I just upgraded from 5 and found your video. Did you notice a spike in your CPU usage with v6? Alvvays is one of my faves 😊 I would love to hear your cover
Hmmm, I didn't notice a big change in CPU, no. Do you do a lot of MIDI? The Alvvays cover is in my video for the Catalinbread Soft Focus! It's just going into the guitar solo into the end IIRC.
@@Marthins1 I really recommend looking a Gregor's vids. He's a big midi guy and you can get a strong feel for if s1 is right for you. I have the Sphere subscription and you get bonus vids. Don't know if you can trial that but if you can do a sphere trial (there's also monthly) I'd recommend it
How did you get your GUI that big? I'm on a 34" ultrawide monitor and everything is so tiny. It's literally unusable. Reaper has a UI scaling option. Does Studio One have something similar?
my 49" superwide is fine, sometimes you have to play around with the high dpi setting when you right click the start icon then properties, compatability and try the different settings.
@@jadonx Yeah I've messed around with those settings I don't see any affect unless go into windows and actually change increase the DPI zoom which makes everything in windows bigger which is not what I want. They need to add a simple UI scale adjustment from within Studio One. It's the only thing keeping me from using it over Reaper.
I ordered a digital download to upgrade from 5 pro to 6 pro. Presonus isn't recognizing my product key. It's frustrating to sat the least. Have you heard of anyone else having similar problems?
I had the same problem and Presonus said I didn't need a product key, then it just installed without me doing anything. Strange but good, hope you get 6 going 🙂
this DAW is actually really good... its rare, because daws do NOT sound the same - just like speakers dont sound the same or different headphones dont sound the same. dont be fooled i am pro i know this!
@@GetOffset i swear I just watched a Home Recording Made Easy (channel) breakdown of Studio 5 within the year. I’m a Logic user, but always been intrigued of the positive reviews of studio one. So I keep eyeing it up.
@@GetOffset hi what I experienced 1. when I export to the project page to master it only exports 3 minutes 2. detect chords sometimes give wrong chords/notes 3. Arranger has a bug, when you copy your bars down and try to erase the first 5 bars it erases the last ones these are the 3 i notice at this moment
@@soundsfromYYBY I would check the marker track. It exports between start and end markers and if your end marker is at the 3min mark the master file will be 3min. Move the end marker to the end of your project you should be fine.
@@soundsfromYYBY the first one is user error, you need to set the correct range. It works, there is no bug there. The second one is also not a bug, but sure it doesn't always give the correct chord. I noticed that too. Fortunately I know chords when I play them so it never bothers me. The last one, yes, that MAY be a bug, provided you did everything right. Did you report any of this? That is needed if you want bugs fixed or issues resolved
Except for custom views and sends on fx, there's nothing in there. Exporting track presets could have really been something if they made it like reaper where you can export the entire track or groups of tracks incl midi and automation. Smart templates..Gtfo.
