Howdy NoDak! I think you might like the AH-1G with simulator controls in Ground Realistic Battles (Although, there are a few steps you should take and techniques you should learn before you jump in the AH-1G) I have a discord link on my YT channel if you are interested in having more fun with helicopter simming in War Thunder.

Love your channel! My problem is that I’m bad enough at ground RB that I rarely get enough points to spawn a helo worth anything! I used your guide to help set up my VR controls! Ultimately VR makes me feel I’ll, so I haven’t done much with it but I do love the helos in WT!

Doesnt matter man! The cobra by bell doesn’t need any spawnpoints for ANY of its loadouts! Nice that ur back man!

just a tip if you set up a button for the nvd it will also be your thermal sight for the little bird in missle aim and if you press f when your in the aim mode for missles it will lock onto it so you dont have to aim your self just a tip love your Channel and content have a good one

I feel like you’d really enjoy playing vtol vr. The chopper dlc is only $12 and it’s a blast to fly, especially if you have another person in your gunner seat. It’s one of the best vr games and a great flight sim. If you don’t have a headset I’d totally recommend picking up a quest 2 or a used rift s if you can.

I’ve actually got VR but it makes me really motion sick! I’ll definitely check out vtol VR though since I’ve got VR anyway!

Right?! Hunting Gepards with the cobra is definitely going to be a video at some point! If you’re not below the ground, you’re at risk of those gepards!

My tactic is usually: approach just in a deadspot, then hide behind something, then u have 2 options: 1 u speed over there and salvo all ur rockets at him and kill the gepards, 2 u snipe them, get at back or front convoy, 5km away and then just fire at his horizontal place with angles between 5 and 40 degrees, sometimes u will kill them without killing u, repeat this for all gepards and enjoy :D!!

@@NoDakPlays sure am. Not just choppers too. One time my Mach speed mig21 got shot down by one of them in a realistic battle. I always underestimate those ai, but they’re no joke!

It is a crime that War Thunder neglects helicopter sim as much as it does. The higher tiers of helicopters (9.0+) are also pretty rough in most game modes.

Yep, completely agree! I’ve played for years and only recently even discovered that PvE mode. I’m average-at-best in competitive modes so that PvE is really my sort of thing! Love your channel, thanks for watchin!

Wonder how much the game mode has changed since release, I haven’t played it since it came out because first of all not having any long range weapons made it damn hard but more importantly the rewards for a like 1.5 or 2 hour long match where I was top of the team was almost nothing
