I love it, starting a side hustle pressure washing driveways, patios, ect. This washer would only be used on weekends, and for starting out while I save for a commercial unit.
My 15yr old Honda GVC 160 2800 psi finally died. True workhorse. Need more kick so replaced with GVC 200 3300 Dewalt from Home Depot. Love it. Excellent tutorial thanks!
Great explanation brotha thank you! Just picked this one up at Home Depot with the extended wand and extra hose. That swivel you got on the gun is clutch!
Thank you so much for making this video! I know for a fact this video was not out when I first purchased mine and you answered every question I had back then, so thanks again 👍🏻
Just bought 3100 Dewalt and I can't wait until I use it. Your video has helped a lot and I'm about to buy what's needed to make my life easier with the links you shared thank you 😊.
I love my Dewalt 3100! I got mine open box because somebody just wanted to use it for a day and bring it back to Home Depot so I got mine for like 100 bucks off! Anyway, great video man. I was super curious about the soap dispenser segment because I added soap to mine a while back, but I’ve never seen soap come out of it so maybe that’s why it was discounted lol. I’ll just get me one of those soap cannons 👍🏻 can’t go wrong with this bad boy
Nice explanation, I just got that model today from home depot and tomorrow morning I will some fresh gas and start using it. I think I am going to like it. Great vid and tight lines .
Great demo. Thanks! I’m considering this one as well. I live your mods with the quick disconnect and the swivel. Question: Does the engine always surge like that when using the soap tank? Sounds like a governor problem.
Hi, so I came across your video and I just love your whole explanation for how to use this particular power washer. I have one exactly like that one. I have used it only twice and now has no pressure. Any suggestions on what can be the problem?? Thank you so much for your help.
Typically due to insufficient water supply or a malfunctioning pump. Try to make sure you don’t have a hose kink or water supply issue first. Always make sure water supply is turned on and even test by pulling trigger until a small stream of water comes out the nozzle before starting. If that doesn’t work check the fuel supply. If that’s fine check the actual nozzle tip for any blockage or try other tips to be sure. Last resort, take it back to the store for an exchange or have someone look at the water pump.
It’s more of an emergency shut off to cut fuel supply if needed. It’s also good to shut off the fuel supply during transport or longer periods of storage.
You definitely need a gas pressure washer I’d say at least 3000 psi for that but this Dewalt is good in my opinion but I also had a gas Craftsman pressure washer with Honda engine that was a beast too.
My pressure washer is the exact same one and it stopped working after acouple jobs.when i turn it on it turns back off then the string gets hard and wont let me pull any idea how to fix it?
Not sure. May got oil in the spark plug cylinder so try pulling spark plug out and try to pull cord. If cord is stuck, could be a seized engine (maybe lack of oil) or the recoil starter failed? May want to get it looked at.
On mine the soap reservoir is filling up with water and blowing the cap off that says soap, but i dont even fill that res tank. Seems like the water is coming thru the hose to the reservoir. Any ideas to fix this? Its killing the water pressue so cant do anything. Machine has an hour use on it...
I bought a Craftsman with the same Honda GCV 200 easty start engine at Lowes. It has been returned and I paid $250 for it. My big question was using the soap reservoir, I was wondering if it were possible to bounce back and forth from soap to water........it seems that it isn't. I might purchase a foam cannon. Thank you for the video.
Wow. There is a reseller here offering $350… it sure if I should bite. I truly dread using my electric sunblow pressure washer. It’s ok but painfully slow and not powerful
Most foam cannons work fine. There’s plenty of pressure from the washer to work one. I would just focus on not buying too cheap of a foam cannon, but if you’re spending at least $20 on a foam cannon you should be fine.
Got mine second hand and it didnt come with the quick connect for the water hose and I cant find anything on parts to buy the correct one. Can you help?
They are available near my Home Depot, maybe try different stores. Or, just search online for a Dewalt 3300 psi pressure washer with Honda engine and I’m sure someone will sell it. It also may be replaced with a newer updated model too?
Just purchased this but can’t seem to get the soap reservoir to work. Anything I might be doing wrong? Followed the instructions and still nothing. Can you link that soap attachment? Might need to do that instead.
@@DieselLegiance I did, still didn’t work, took it back and got a new one from Home Depot, which was worse than the first. The Dewalt 3300 sucks ass, & it’s engine is garbage. Just took it back and ordered a Westinghouse
Great video, man! I recently picked up the 3100 psi Dewalt preasure washer. It was the first preasure washer I've owned. Good insight on some small upgrades you can do for not a lot of money. I'm definitely going to get the quick release and foam cannon you recommend. Thanks man
