I have been creating journals for the past 6 years and every time I finish a new junk journal, altered book, or ephemera - it fills me with joy and excitement! I try to add new themes or ideas to my journals and ephemera as every month new inspiration is blooming! These are some of my favorite ideas for the junk journals, altered books, and ephemera that I have created during 2020-2021! Like many crofters I have a large lace and linen stash collected over many years I love the cover of the fairy inspired journal I so much want to be confident enough to create a journal simpler to yours have made loads to put in it it's a big step to take making an actual book with your support I can do iTHANKYOU

I’m in the minority, I rarely if ever use digitals. Your artistry inspires me (as well as the artistry of Bohemian journalists, and Mixed Media Artists.) I go out and find my own beautiful old books, papers, textiles, charms, threads, bits and pieces…Then I experiment with dyes, rusting, coffee and tea mixes. These are what I use for my creations. I must admit I’ve become a hoarder 😊🥰…how can one help it with all all the lovely paints, brushes, stamps, magazines… O.K. maybe I need a support group😁

The winter crystal was incredibly fulfilling to create and I am hoping to revisit that style as its such a special journal to create! Thank you so much sweetheart for the well wishes! I would love to film a video showing how I store all my special pieces as I love to flip through them and display them. I keep my heirloom envelopes and smaller journals in an antique suitcase that has the prettiest fabric lining, and my larger journals on my bookshelf! I only keep my current journals on my desk as I love looking at them everyday and I find myself using them more often if they are displayed on a desk rather thank a bookshelf

@@amitybloom159 - I also store mine in a bookshelf sort of way, mainly my biggest ones I’ve been practicing to make, like Johanna Clough’s, I’ve made 2 and I love them both soo much. I also have my artist in bloom journal on top of a blue typewriter I got for last year’s Christmas (I named my typewriter “forget me not”, because of the color and it’s also a really sweet way to think of ending a letter, when you type a letter, you’re kinda letting the person you’re sending it to, not to forget you, which I thought was really sweet.) I have some antique suitcases but my mom recently got me some bags, so I have them stored there and my other journals in decorative boxes. I recently got my first ever job, so I’m going to be saving up for your future holiday sale, it’d be an absolute honor to purchase a journal from one of my favorite creators, especially with a beautiful Marie Antoinette” theme, I just really resonate with it. Hope everything goes smooth for you, can’t wait to see more from you 🌸💕

I have a chest full of finished journals and I am hoping to share them in the future to offer ideas and inspiration as I've tried countless journaling styles and It's so much fun to share my favorites and how I personally use them!
