The watch is only 30m water resistant and is not meant to be worn when showering (like many sports watches). It is merely splash resistant. It will not break down now since it is new but water may leak in over time. You can research into this yourself or ask a watch specialist at Cartier (who should give you the correct info)
My heart dropped when she said she showered with her watch. Aiii yiii yiii. My husband has an omega and i still stress out if he accidentally gets it wet, even though it’s a dive watch.😅
Hi Lou, please try to avoid wearing your watch in the shower. It is a great quality watch so it can handle it but seals do wear down over time so if you get in the habit of taking it off now it will be easier on the future. Depending on if the watch is a quartz watch or not (which I think it is) if it gets water damage the movement will need to be replaced or more. I’m not saying it will break right now or even in the next year but over time things do happen. Just something to keep in mind. Love the video!
I adore my love ring in the thin size and would recommend it to anyone considering it. I think you are exactly right when you say it's easier to wear than the juc ring which can snag clothes and get caught on all sorts of things. Lovely video! 💕

don't shower with your watch. 30m does not mean that it is waterproof. the watch is only splash resistant. also the caskets will degrade very fast, so the watch will even loose the little splash resistance it has now. its very sad that a watch this expensive has no basic water protection, but this is the reality of most lady watches. that's also why i love the rolex lady datejust so much. its truly waterproof!

I lost my small LOVE bracelet when it fell off somewhere and and unfortunately was not able to get it covered by insurance. You better believe I had to get my insurance coverage increased since I am going to get it replaced. I have both the large and small JUC bracelets w/o diamonds in rose gold. Both JUC rings and bracelets can get caught in sweaters, socks and towels-from my own experience. I am going to get the larger JUC ring as I loved how it looked on both my index fingers. I love the heirloom jewelry you have from your family members that have a history behind them. Your engagement ring from Polo, truly unique and so special since he designed for you. the watch in mini size looks lovely on you :) i have tiny wrists so thought the mini would be best suited but at the store really fell in love with the small size with a ring of diamonds, i think the size is fine for me as I'm used to my apple watch which has a much bigger watch face, as you say it all depends on personal style/preferences
