I think these first flights are better than UNC toe , but what they need to do is start, including some white or sale laces with these shoes. It doesn’t make any sense they look the best in my opinion.
While the trinket it comes with i believe is implying to make this tribute to Georgeann wells (first known woman to hit a dunk in college basketball on friday dec 21, 1984 while playing for the university of west virginia against the university of charelston). However, snkrs also makes it confusing by basically saying the shoe commemorates “the home of high fliers, it celebrates the historic moments of flight, and the pioneers that first set to take flight. (Possible wright brothers reference to the first flight of a motorized vehicle on dec 17, 1903 of a plane at kitty hawk, nc ) and that the colors of ub obsidian and gold (possibly implied for the hint of either wells or the wrightt bros or both) give the praise to the tar heel state that laid the foundation” makes the possible real “tribute” this shoe is meant to be for as very ambiguous………as the trinket implies wells and snkrs description says “tar heel state” (wells didnt play at unc nor from north carolina, shes from columbus, ohio) so the descriptions contradict each other. However, me personally, I do believe its a tribute that can be considered a triple entendre to unc, georgeann wells and the wright brothers all together. But more specifically of all 3 its likely a tribute to georgeann wells. Due to the obsidian and gold logo layout being in the colors of wells’s alma mater, the university of west virginia.
