Love this!! You have the absolute best tutorials. You take your time and explain everything without skipping over anything. I can’t even begin to tell you how much material I have wasted following some other channel tutorials, only to discover halfway through making the project, that difficult steps were skimmed over, edited out, or skipped altogether. I have made so many of these albums into journals, but instead of using string or cord, I have been using elastic which works really well.

Just made this with 18 inserts - it takes about 20 2 sided cardstock papers with extra for embellishing. I'm going to be using a total of about 24 pretty papers and a couple of plain cardstock for mats, etc. This is such a great tutorial. I really love the way you teach. You make it so that we can follow along step by step and be successful. Thanks so very much for sharing your talents.

I adore this for that beautiful 2-sided paper that seems such a shame to glue and waste! It is 2:06 a.m., but I am fighting off the urge to go start one of these RIGHT NOW!!!! lol. THANK YOU!! I usually make a lot of cards, but i have had a paper pad that really didn't lend itself to card making. I was able to make one of these albums and use the entire pad! I love it! and I love your channel!

Oh thank you for this idea!! I bought a box of pre-made signatures at a thrift store. They were all pre-bound so I had no idea how to get them into a cover. This will be perfect!! I have a hardcover book that I've picked out for the cover so putting elastics around the spine will work beautifully.

so i followed along and made one for a baby book. I only had the stretchy twine, i didn't hear until the end to use some with elastic. It worked wonderfully! thank you so much. again i love your voice and videos, so relaxing!

I really do like this, very cute, and a great way to use paper. I think the elastic idea is a good one. Can bling it up a little by using 2 mm elastic in gold.

Thanks for the tutorial. Love the easy binding. Starting from middle of binding and going out might be easier. I will try this and see how starting from middle works. Tfs

I was completely inspired by your tutorial and had to try it. It came out adorable💕 Can't wait to embellish it. I did two things different. I added a ribbon closer before adding the paper to the inside cover. I also left the twine lose and did not tie it off until after I added the paper. 🥰 Love love love it!

I have a two part philosophy to managing my hoarde. I have first category which is in and out one and done things. I like them, but I don’t want them around. I want to “process them” and be done. Then I have my faves. I don’t mind hoarding those. Maggie, prima etc. I want enough where I can use them yes, but I still have spares. I don’t mind keeping my faves around, so long as I one and done everything else. I also prefer collections so I don’t have random lose bits and bobs to deal with. What’s left over with Maggie, Paige Evans etc usually go well with one another so I can make a “pantry challenge” type thing and Frankenstein a project but it’s still looks cohesive . Peachy cheap has helped with all of this! I see something I want to make a scrap layout cool. It’s cheap. I fall in love (prima marketing fruit paradise anyone?!) i don’t mind staring at it for months or years lol
