For a one and done I die for the stila shimmer and glows 🥰❤️ they love me and I love them back ! Cloud, kitten, jezebel and twig ! I’ve finished them completely ✨🙌🏻
Marie Antoinette by Charlotte Tilbury is such a beautiful one and done cream shadow! I love mine. They’re so easy to blend.. I can do it with just my fingers. It has never creased or faded on me even at 8+ hour days
Thank you for being so detailed. Tom Ford Naked Bronze is one of my favorites. I like that type of formula because it doesn’t migrate up onto your transition color from the lid if you are wearing multiple colors. If you have any MAC shadows that would go with the one you showed, I would love to see a eye look with that. I rarely see tutorials using MAC and I feel those are some of the nicest shadows.
I adore the Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow in Rose Gold so much so I want to get more colors someday. I also enjoy the Tarte Chrome Paint Pots too in Frose' , Top Yaht ,and Caramel Apple. I really want try the Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown cream sticks soon! Wonderful video! You look Beautiful as Always :)
I have watched several of these because I love a good one and done! You are on track with most of the others , although you all have slightly different color preferences. I’m off to buy TF Sable. Thanks for the great recommendations!
So many of these are lovely. However my favorites are the Kiko Milano eyeshadow sticks, I have about 7 of them, very similar to Laura Mercier cavier sticks. Also several of the Revlon cream pots are great. There is a lovely matte brown and Espresso and Praline ( a rose gold) are beautiful
Hi Mandy! Can/will you consider doing a GRWM with the Fire Rose palette? I have it and love it but your eye looks are gorgeous so I would love to see what you come up with 😊❤️
Love that Kosas color, but sadly, I avoid liquids or creams because I do not wear eye shadow enough to make it worth it for me because of the shorter shelf life; but WOW it is so gorgeous! My favorite shadow shade would probably be an old bare Minerals loose shadow "Bare Skin". Super natural, but really lovely; and sadly they do not make it any more. I was lucky to find another one on eBay. :-)
Love this video! Mine are Laura Mercier Cocoa, Cobblestone and Plum; Charlotte Tilbury Marie antoinette, Chanel Premier Ombre Cream pot in Patine Bronze and Undertone; Natasha Denona the middle shade in the Camel palette. Really any shadow because I mostly do one and done just because my eyes are so hooded. I can make one shadow look like 3 on my eyes LOL Really enjoyed this.
Tarte Frose “if you have hazel or green eyes, please get this color” 🙋🏼♀️ I think I will! done! It’s in my cart lol! 🤣 kosas is also tempting. I mean, do I really need so many eyeshadows? I’ll never use them all. But I do have 2 young daughters I can eventually give them to so it’s justified, right?
Thanks for showing us the colors you loved. I would have liked to see them on your eyes. Old video stills would have been fine. It is hard to imagine them on eyes when they are on your hand. Thanks for your content.
Hi Selena, so sorry about that. I have kids that were sent home to do school here until after thanksgiving due to covid school closures, and with my other jobs it has been crazy to say the least. Lol. I was just trying to get the video up for you guys, so I had to do the quickest edit possible. Thanks for watching!
Yes wondering the same as far as application, do you use different type of brush than what you would use with powder eye shadows? Would love brand and numbers of brushes you’d recommend.
Thanks!! So it depends on the formula as to whether I like to apply with a brush or the finger. If it's a stick shadow, I apply straight from the crayon and then blend out with a really dense brush if I need to do any blending at all. For the cream shadows in a pot, I like to use a brush, and for the pressed shadows like the Tarte and Hourglass, I like to use my finger to really pack on the pigment. I think the one thing that stays the same with all of them, is that if you use a brush, the more dense and synthetic the best. The Real Techniques eye brushes are my fave for this purpose. Hope this helps!
@@MandyDavisMUA girl omg I am a sucker for a pretty matte and often times use only matte as my eye look but girl those FIRST FOUR are so so so beautiful.....i mean not only the COLORS but u can tell they are good quality also
I will add it to my list. If you were wondering about a specific one, you can search my channel with the specific name, and if I have used it, it will show up. Sorry about that. I have both kids at home....our county schools shut down because of covid, and between home schooling and my other jobs, it's been tough to do intense editing. I will try and do one of them on my IGTV next week for my GRWM. Thanks for watching!
Guess I have to buy Frose now... Didn't plan on spending anymore on makeup this year, but this year nothing went as planned I guess ;-) Great video! All your choices were right up my alley :-)
I watched a bunch of these videos (and I think I might have been one of the folks who asked you for your favorite one-and-done shadows), and this is by far the best video I have seen!! You provided the most variety of shades, both matte and shimmer/metallic/glitter as well as warm/cool/neutral tones. (Most people had one tone they were most comfortable with so that most were in that color family.) I also obviously love the taupey-mauvey-purplish shades that you provided and can't get enough of! Thanks, Mandy!!! (And I mentioned in IG to you earlier today, but I want to say again that I love your camo hoodie -- where did you find it?? XOXO Julie)
Thank you so much Julie! I am so glad you enjoyed it. I got this hoodie from American Eagle last year; maybe even the year before. I can't remember. LOL
That was perfect Mandy. Love everything you included. My most used Nudestix pencil is Nudity, followed by Terra. I love CT Marie Antoinette- I think she’s changed the name of it now. Hourglass scattered light pot in Smoke. 😍 I’ve got a Nars cream stick shadow that I don’t hear anyone talk about anymore called Oaxaca. It’s the perfect quartz taupe shade and the formula is sensational - better than By Terry and Bobbi Brown in my opinion. I really want to try the Trinny London cream eyeshadow pots. She’s created a two-in-one for Christmas so it might be a good time to buy something I really don’t need. 😂
Enjoyed this SO much! I’ve been loving the Kosas “element”. 😍 Thanks for taking the time to explain how you use your favs. . Already added a few to my “want” list.
Awesome video I have been wanting to try more cream shadows. I would love to see you do a review on the new launch of the bareminerals original liquid foundation, i saw it on qvc last Friday. Its suppose to be hydrating and illuminating. Same as the loose foundations. ❤
@@MandyDavisMUA awesome me too! Can't wait to see your review. I would do reviews but im camera shy. Im just curious what others think and want to know there input. 🙂
Loved this! I found a few I need to pick up! Love the Kosas element on your eyes in this video!!! I wish I loved those from Kosas, I have a few but don’t love them....maybe I just need Element?! Ha! 😘
Hi Mandy, loved this video. I have very oily eyeliids and even though I wear the Trish McEvoy eyelid primer and set with powder, the Laura Mercier and Charlotte Tilbury cream shadows do not last at all so I am sticking with powder eyeshadow. MAC Woodwinked is a good one and done eyeshadow for me.
I will add it to my list. If you were wondering about a specific one, you can search my channel with the specific name, and if I have used it, it will show up. It depends on the formula as to whether I prefer finger or brush application. Sorry about that. I have both kids at home....our county schools shut down because of covid, and between home schooling and my other jobs, it's been tough to do intense editing. I will try and do one of them on my IGTV next week for my GRWM. Thanks for watching!
I love that Kosas eyeshadow on you. I have globe and want to try element but I’m not sure if it would look too red toned on me since I’m pale lol have you tried any of the Armani eye tints??
I think Karima McKimmie was the first one who did this tag video. I happened to see that video and was able to see 2 or 3 others. I was hoping you would do this one!
I feel like I tried one of the lighter ones a little over a year ago, and I wasn't the most impressed with the pigmentation. I am wondering if I should have tried a darker color.
I loveee your videos! I was looking for a nice eye shadow like the one you wearing in this video, Kosas Element, is that color discontinued? I cannot find it anywhere 🙁
I have very crepey eyelids and metallic shadows look terrible on me. :(. The hourglass scattered light shadows are the perfect shadows to have sparkle, but not accentuate lines/wrinkles/crepe.
Second question- months ago I bought frose and I’m now just wondering if you’ve recommended two? Mine is a powder yet it says chrome paint also. If I tipped it, it would all pour out, I think you recommended it as a topper, are there two different formulas? I guess I’m asking because I’m wondering if this is defective.
So I got one of the holiday ones last year and it was the same way. The more I researched, the more I found out that they just weren't hard pressed enough in production. I would try to really pack it in with your finger and see if that helps. :)
So my eyes are greenish blue .not true green or true blue with gold around pupil. .I love color you are wearing but do you ever find that those shades make you look tired..like it brings out redness or purple around eyes? Maybe I am doing wrong ..
I find that as long as anything isn't too red, I don't have issues with it. If you cut it with a bit of a cooler shade in the crease or under the eye, it helps with the sick look. :)
Hey Mandy! Great video💕 I tried to use MANDY20 on Harben House today to buy my defenage (thank you so much for your review of the serum) and it didn’t work ☹️ I’ve successfully used your code there before on Defenage products so something has changed. Do you have a new code? I’m thinking it’s probably been excluded from discounts (I noticed it is on lovely skin and derm warehouse) but I wanted to check before I paid full price, it hurts me. Also, don’t you know Brianna? Tell her to stock it on premier look! If anyone else reading has a discount code that can be used on defenage, leave it in the reply 💗pretty please🤗
