I'm so with you on preferring the older design of the Muji 0.38/0.5 pens, what I do now I buy the refills of the .38 and swap it into one of the older bodies I hung on to. I did notice or think that maybe they changed their ink formulation in those, because some I have that are the older variety write so much smoother than one's I've purchased in the last two years or so. #love fellow pen nerds ;) Thanks for posting your favourites!

I was so excited to see this in my inbox! And I love my jinhao pens (I have 5 of the shark ones 🤣) and been looking at the kakuno.

Great video and we'll presented. I started my fine point addiction first with dip pens, then with the Rapidiograph pens with the 4x0 and 6x0 nibs. As far as fountain pens are concerned for the ultimate fine point nib it would be the Platinum #3776 Century with an UEF (Ultra Extra Fine) nibs......great for art work (for stippling) and complements my writing style as well. I too have the Kakuno in the EF nibs. The majority of my fountain pen collection (I fell down that rabbit hole HARD) are Fine and Extra Fine nibs.....I have 2 fountain pens with a Medium nib (in case I happen to be in "the mood" to use them....like when a meteor decides to hit earth again, but I have them). I enjoy the Copic and Pentel Extra Fines as well. Glad to see someone else so enthusiastic about the fine category in writing/art utensils. The pen your father gave you is quit unique, maybe if there is a pen show where / or near where you reside someone may be able to fix it, if not maybe THEY know of someone who can restore it.
