Sooo I’ve watched this video at least 15 times in the last 5 months trying to work up the nerve to do it. I started it 4 times last night and gave up but I woke up this morning and knew I had to do it. I am now 1/2 way through it and I can’t thank you enough. Remember ladies we may not get it the first time but keep trying because practice makes perfect !
When the little guy kissed you in the beginning of the video, my heart melted. I have 3 sons💖. Put a duck bill clip at the base of the braid so it won't keep twisting at the root while you are twisting down
Beautiful ! Yep I twist my own hair the same way except I use Cuban Twist hair😬I am tender headed and I don’t like tight nothing on my hair, I leave edges out as well😚, it’s affordable to braid my own hair and I can sit at home watching my movies, take my breaks etc. Hope you had a nice vacation !
You did a great job! Your twists look beautiful! I have been looking for a new style. Did not want braids they take so long. I think I will try yours next weekend. Love your videos.
I'm on the floor about the amount of braids you counted. I thought I was the only person who did that. When I do regular crochet o have about 120 at the max. I would do individual, but they only last a good week, maybe two if I'm lucky. My hair grows out of it so fast. This is gorgeous on you though
SO. I've gotten regular passion twists in the past but I've always wanted to have them a bit smaller and this video is great because it seems like you're free parting and I personally don't like taking my time doing it. Very relieved on your results and will be trying this weekend. Love your video gorgeous!
I've been itching for a protective style! This one is right on time. I always check your videos for mom-friendly styles and a realistic expectation of how many packs of hair and how much time it will take lol.
I tried this style with Mayde Softwist hair...I couldn't attach it like you did so I wound up braiding them in then twisting. But the hair was awesome! So soft and light! Thank you for the inspiration!❤
You know what, I'm going on vacay in a few months and was going to pay someone to do my braids, when I know darn well how to do my own hair! Thanks for this video I'm about to save some$$. Your hair is super cute!
You’ve just saved my life‼️ Girl I done spent $120 on hair attempting 2 styles that I was just not feeling. Funny it’s for my Miami trip as well, I leave Thursday lol. But anyways, I normally do two strand twist but I was trying to switch it up but fuck it and all those who say “again” LOL it’s a go to and it easy, cute and also sexy! But I said all that to say I was like damn I don’t want to spend another $40-50 on hair 😩😩🤣 so thank you sis!😍😍😘😘😘😘😘
Hi, you’re so beautiful, and you did it good! Can you do a video on some updo with the style. How to wear it. And also your lashes. 😋 Thank you beauty!
Probably won't do a updo video because all I've worn it was in a high ponytail. Lol. I thought I would do more with the style, but I haven't. My lashes are individuals I got done but someone new in Houston. I actually don't like them so....yeah lol! I typically get them done in Houston at Lavish Lashes.
You did a wonderful job!! I have been natural now for 10 years and don't do much to my hair but my afro or leave it curly. I want to try new things with it and have watched several different videos and I either didn't like their styles or the techniques were to complex. The styles that I have seen on your page are the bomb.com because they protect your hair AND edges. Thank you for sharing
I love this video sis! I am definitely trying this style. These styles are considered protective styles so I feel just as strongly as you do about the manipulation of your hair and the health of your scalp and edges, and just as you, I do my own hair for the same reasons! -xoxo
Okay I was trying to decide what size I want my twists to be and you convinced me! These look so good and they seem like they’ll last. I like to keep my protective styles in for about a month.
Did you pre-soak the hair? I know some people complain of itchiness from a preservative that's put on the hair, so they soak it in warm water and apple cider vinegar. Love the video, cant wait to do it before I go on vacation!
Hey the 24 kart did you put that on your hair first or only on the hair as you started to twist it ? Also I love jam the one with the green top. I hate using gel most times bc it makes my hair hard and I dislike that feeling. Jam gives a lighter hold
I do not, but you can. As far as washing, I dilute a bit of shampoo and apply directly to my scalp and gently massage. Then simply follow up with a leave-in conditioner & a light oil. I keep things simple.
I want to try this so badddd....I’ve tried multiple times before but I can’t seem to attach the braiding hair to my hair. It always slips out...even when it feels secure it always slips out 🤦🏿♀️
I have a few questions 😱 1. When you are parting are you creating windows? 2. When you are twisting are you twisting and then overlapping or just your normal two strand twist (after securing the hair). 3. I tried a look like this and my hair was very obviously peaking through, how can I avoid this?
To avoid hair peeking through apply a gel, or edge control to the ends of your hair so it STICKS to the extension hair, & slightly split each extension section to TUCK your hair in between & the gel/edge control will help it stick together thus fore hiding your natural hair ☺️
I am twisting and then overlapping. But only going down about half way. I did normal two strand the rest of the way to avoid my fingers falling off lol!
Hey beautiful! These are great! Two questions: the twist you did on both strands and then twisting into each other did you keep that method all the way down? Also I had marley twist two years ago and that Ish itch so bad..... crazy reaction. Did this hair bother you
I've used this hair so many times and have never had any kind of reaction. You mean did I keep twisting each single strand while braiding the hair all the way? If so, no. I did it about 1/2 of the way then just did a regular two strand twist. You could keep going, but your hands might hurt a lil sooner lol
Jai Marii that was my exact question!!! Thank you so much! I’m trying this tomorrow!! Thank you as usual for being your bomb self! Hope you had a great vacation
I swear braid salons act like they dont get this, doing Senegalese twists with Marley or kinky hair. Everytime i try to get this they get confused and try to do regular Senegalese twists or kinky twists. But now i can show them this video
