You know what I really like about you Justin? In all of your videos, you are so enthusiastic and so happy about the simplest, coolest, most interesting (sometimes a little plain) things. You find great pleasure in things that other people very easily over look. Then you take all of these experiences and make them in to videos that practically paints your thoughts and emotions all over our computer screens, and in turn when we watch your videos, feel the same enthusiasm that you do. Never change who you are. I don't think I will ever stop watching your videos man. I hope I bump in to you some day at Disneyland (when I renew my pass)
Where do I begin??!! You had me laughing from beginning to end! Your Marlon Brando was spot on!(and don't let nobody tell ya otherwise) I totally get the whole closet door thing lol. For me, I would have closed it and put something heavy in front of it though👻 Your adventures (and Adams) are causing my bucket list to get longer with each vlog lol. Kudos for the message about getting kids to read! A book can take you anywhere you wanna go. I'm lucky that my kids love to read and they are also big fans of history and museums. Don't know where they got that from 🤔 hehehe😉 My biggest dream is to someday be able to take my kids to Disneyland. Now that you have shown them (and me too) how cool Route 66 is, and since we live in Kansas, I think it would be most appropriate to take Route 66 when we go! That way, half the fun will be going there and coming back. Thanks for the awesome adventures Justin!!
One of the best I have heard in a long time. I learn something new about Justin with every video. I honestly do not know why he does not have more subscribers.
I love Justin! He totally reminds me of Rob Dyrdek in this vid. Lol. Seems like a legitimately nice guy. I would love to have him come along on a Route 66 roadie with my buddies and I.
The "gun" bit was SO funny - man ... I had to replay that ... you are such an entertainer Justin! Top marks - and the Marlon Brando part was fun as well ... "You coulda been a contender. You coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what you are, let's face it." - On the Waterfront
eRiQ Quaadgras: He cracked me up. And you are right. He is quite the entertainer. Makes me want to go up and experience everything he did for myself. I live in Arizona(Phoenix)so it's not all that far for me to go. I'd love to stay at The El Trovatore motel too.
I agree with your 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 assessment of El TRI store Motel!! It is totally awesome, from the signage, the neon night view is sweet, the room had everything necessary for today I an old fashioned she'll, which was an awesome authentic experience, with the comforts of today!!! What a great find!!! Attaboys to the owners for their wonderful renovations, n for you Justin, for daring to try the classics on the road!!!
Once again the bloody computer on the phone thinks it's correcting me when it's always wrong!! I dig the fact that it is the El Trovetore Motel. It took ,3 tries to get the phone to accept my spelling. Smart Phone?! I think NOT!!!
Justin, you do the most fantastic job of making the best videos. I especially love you travelling on ole Route 66 again, just so over the top cool, wish I was there. I support you every month with just a little stipend, but wish I could afford to do more. You are such a big part of my life now, love you and take care.
Your videos are great mate! :-) I love how into the whole Route 66 thing you are! Me too. I love those sign designs too. They're a real slice of Americana to which certified Americophiles such as myself can totally relate! By the way, here in the UK, we still call motorway gas stations "service stations". Weeeeeird!
Awesomely, COOL! Really Impressed with this vid. You have done those places Proud... I'm a really big fan of "Route 66". I've been on a lot IT, myself over the years. Yet, didn't have the opportunity to stop at all the places along the way.. So, following You I have a chance to see the ones I missed & reminded of the ones I did see.. Thanks, Kiddo, for sharing with ALL of Us, Your Fans & Followers.. Happy Trails to You. ; D
Once again I am super sorry!!!! I still feel bad, glad you liked the hotel I told you about, I knew you would love it. See you in Disneyland on September 3rd and 4th
Oh my gosh Justin, I wasn't expecting the part with the gun at the end. My Wife and I loved it when you threw that in there it made us laugh so hard. Thank you for all that you do!
Sam can TALK!! My wife and I are staying at the El Trovatore tonight because of your recommendation. What a place!! Nice clean rooms. Wonderfully themed. Really feels like you’re living a small piece of history. Sam (the owner) and his wife are exceptionally nice and gracious. Sam talked to us for about 40 minutes about 66, the motel, movie stars, and recommended an awesome steakhouse down the street. He also had a bunch of cool things to say about you. 😜 Thanks for turning us on to wonderful stuff like this. Love your videos.
Reading is so essential to life! Can’t tell you how many livestreams I’ve seen where the streamer struggles to read and understand the chats! Sometimes I wonder if they even know they have a problem! Love your videos Justin! This ending was hilarious. Your Marlon Brando impression was spot-on! I live in Tulsa a few blocks from Route 66! My family and I are big fans of Route 66, Pops, Blue Whale, Cars, Michael Wallis, Dawn Welch of Rock Cafe, etc.
I had to look up Andy Devine. I figured it couldn’t be the young guy in Pitch Perfect and Modern Family. Sure enough, he is Adam Devine. When I looked up Andy I was reminded his name is in the lyrics of Jimmy Buffett’s song Pencil Thin Mustache!
Hahaha! You're so funny. My fave part was the jail scene. Very creative getting "locked up" for accidentally "shooting" a gun. Thank you for the videos! They might be the only way I get to see old Route 66
Thanks for a great and amusing review. We're driving back east in October and I was planning on taking I40, I will try to stay at The Trovatore. The bathtub was probably sealed off because they waste a lot of water and there has been a drought for a few years. The cigarette burn marks on the night stands shows what a classy joint that it.
I never use the drawers, but I always use the stick your luggage on it thingy, which is the best. I really enjoy seeing historic spots like this and one day plan to visit some of the amazing places you've been, and most likely some of the places you'll visit in the future. well crafted content.
This is the best video I've seen in a long time. I give you 5 stars out of 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and anything else I can think of. Too bad I can only do one like. You are very intelligent and extremely entertaining. Godspeed to you Justin.
Added the Trovadore Motel to Mine and my beau's "places to visit" list for our future trips. Great trip vid. And we'd book a suite at your Sometime House in the future.
That bathroom is actually cooler than that fancy-schmancy Aiir France lounge you went to,.... Sam Monica and Taco were graced by your unique character as you did right by their kindness in your positive words and awesome vlog. ( wig-wam boy shoulda been nicer to you ) I want to see the 66 someday....you look at stuff like I do,....cool THX Jutin! LFDP4life
The last bit was hilarious! I like that you're encouraging kids to read. Of course, it's possible to learn to like reading as an adult, but you are definitely right that it is easier as a child, and I would add that it's more beneficial to their development. I could list countless books I read as a child that influenced me as an adult.
We went through there during spring break lol! Spent the week in tombstone.... amazing! Don't know if you've ever been there, but being a fan of history like you are I highly recommend at least a day trip.
Justin, another FANTASTIC vlog! You had me smiling from start to finish! I will be moving to Hawai'i in a couple of years but before I do I want to go down the part of route 66 that is in Arizona and maybe in California as well. Maybe take a couple of weeks to experience the old mother road. I love places chock full of history. And kudos for encouraging children to read. I LOVE books, especially history, have since I was knee high to a grasshopper. :) When I was a child you could usually find me outside with my nose in a book, inside with my nose in a book, on a rainy day with my nose in a book. :) The only time I really watched television was on Saturday mornings watching cartoons and then it was either outside playing cowboys and indians, damsel in distress or my nose was buried in a book like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (always had a soft spot for Tom, I'd pretend I was Becky Thatcher LOL) or a book of fairy tales. :) Don't you just love those sudden downpours in Arizona? I've had it rain in my backyard but be sunny in my front yard. As you would say: Weeeeird. :D
So, heartedly, agree with You for encouraging children to read.. It's like a lost art anymore.. At least, teach children to learn to Google for different things to learn about them.
Great stuff! So funny and also informative. Loved every minute and laughed out loud like 20 times AT LEAST (maybe more)! Hilarious creepy mannequins in awesome Ash Fork (I've never seen that museum- now I must go to there)! Sensational Seligman! (too bad you can't have a butterscotch malt from the Snow Cap- they're exceptional). And El Trovatore in Kingman looks so cool! Thanks for the tour! We're adding it to our list. PS: I also never unpack my suitcase into the drawers.
I really feel his pain. Celiacs is horrid. Especially when you're the only person in your family who has to deal with it. And I love the vlog. Really makes me want to travel on Rt 66
Great video Justin! I reallylove your road trip / travel videos! You seem so enthralled with the littlest things sometimes. (which makes for great viewing!😄)
Good thing to add to the first aid kit is plain green tea bags. Make 1/2 a cup of hot tea, then when cool enough, a warm compress for eyes. Just wring the tea bag out and apply.
When you mentioned Disney pins and collecting other pins too, I actually do that too! I collect about any pin, Disney or otherwise! Had to get a different binder for them all!
Would love to travel along the old route. I am from Scotland and no employer would give u a couple of months off to do it. A bucket list dream of mine maybe someday.
I gotta get out there on Route 66 too! I love old Motels, the older and funkier the better! When I would go to Vegas I liked staying at the Somerset House Motel on convention center drive . It was built in 1963. The lamps, tables, art, seemed all to be the original stuff from the 60's?! And the place was clean too! It was right across the street from the Debbie Rynolds hotel & casino! Also closed.... =( and now it's the Greek Isles Hotel... anyway, my friends would wanna stay at the fanciest hotels they could and I would be happy as a clam at the Somerset House. Loved the Marlon Brando impersonation ha ha ha... =) You got a million of um don't you Justin? ;) Nice to see you are so prepared for your road trips. I think somebody gifted you the first aid kit and flashlight if I'm correct? That person must really care about you and never wanna see anything bad ever happen to you =)
Hi Justin that printing press is a Virka type machine it makes lead type that go in a chase that goes in a letterpress which does old style printing A chase is a square metal frame that holds lead type. Great video's by the way !
Hi Justin, One time we stayed in a hotel, checked into the room and opened the closet, and a man was sleeping in there! He ran out so fast, I think he was a worker. It was the strangest thing ever, so i understand fear of the closet!!
