I think the main reason why Spongebob the Anime is so enjoyable and so.. genuine is because it’s basically a result of love. Now I don’t personally know Narmak but you can tell he loves Spongebob and he loves shounen anime, and he wanted to mix two things he loves a lot, even if the whole thing started as a silly meme. Spongebob the anime isn’t just a fun, silly animation, there was passion in the project, there was genuine effort from the creator to portray something that loves (Spongebob the cartoon) in another style and animation that he also dearly enjoys. I’ve recently became interested in animation, and as someone who has been there when the first Spongebob anime OP came out, seeing something like this actually come to life is so inspiring and motivating.

As someone starting a career in emergency management having my first exposure to the field being the most active hurricane year in history one of the most active wildfire seasons and dealing with an unprecedented pandemic situations, japan sinks 2020 hits really hard for me. It's the human element to my job that reminds me why I wanted to go into this field and why my job as mundane and pointless and chaotic it is sometimes matters

It's being released later this year and there's a trailer up on the guy's channel right now! I feel like Japan Sinks was a bit too heavy-handed. They just keep throwing tragic moments at you to the point of desensitization. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 deals with similar issues but does it 100x better.

This is unrelated but did you ever hear the sound you use for your alarm clock when you weren't in bed and not expecting it? I might be overly harsh but God of Highschool was pretty lame, I can probably get a similar experience by just going into the kitchen, blasting dubstep, and banging pots and pans together. The fights were pretty lame and the plot threads are just stringed together and are rush up the ass. The animation is good sure but if I want good fights and great animation, I'll just check out the second season of Fire Force(I might be biased though since I'm reading Jojolion and nearly fight in that series, basically is hypercreative.)

I've never seen or heard of carrion before, but from the gameplay that you showed, especially how the monster retreats at 12:04, that looks like a game that feels incredible. Everything looks look monstrous, and the way you move is just so gross and convincing. I might have to check it out.
