Tangle along with me - some of my favorite tangle things. FLUX, aura lines, zen gems, fun frames, shadows and highlights. Supplies I used: Zentangle 3.5” tan tile, Micron PN and 01 black pens, pencil, white chalk pencil, tortillons, white gelly roll 10, gold metallic gelly roll pen, white colored pencil, colored pencils for gem.
This one inspired by a tile drawn by Maria Thomas.

What a beautiful first video! Great linework , and I love enhanced borders. I think this is the first time I’ve seen anyone use watercolor pencils on a Zentangle gem. First time viewer, so I’m off to watch your other videos. Keep up the great work!

My lord. This looks amazing. Cant get over how straight your line work is. Not to be insulting but you had me wondering what the plan was. In the beginning, you were giving off some very serious fried egg energy. It lost that a bit later so worries gone. 😜. Beyond the initial scare, gorgeous work.

Thanks so much! Is used a Caran D’Ache Pablo white pencil for the Printemps pattern in the background.

This tangle is exquisite! Your work is so beautiful and inspiring. A question about the gelly roll pens: is there any way to get a pen with ink in the tube to start flowing again? I have a couple that just don't write anymore, but there is still ink in them. Thank you for sharing this video.

Thanks so much! The gellyrolls can be inconsistent, in my experience. I like to scribble on another piece of paper before I use them on the tile to get the ink flowing. Lately I’ve been using a Uniball Signo white gel pen. I really like it. It, too, needs a bit of scribbling first, but makes a nice line. I hope you’ll try some of my other videos-have fun!
