@@Kpaceguy Daylight/Ambient light for me @6:47 maybe just an offshot of the camera, but i see a better picture here, and i have big windows and like daylight, is hard to find a combo that will work great in these situations.
@Gio Drago camera settings didn't change in any of these shots just to be consistent. Also, I have oled in the bedroom and yes it's a superior picture BUT it's only 55in haha
Hey man great vid! I have a Hisense PX2 Pro (2400 lumens) and a dedicated theatre space so 75% of the time I'll be watching in a dark room with dark walls and ceiling. In your opinion will this screen pair well with the projector?
Sometimes there seems to be a pattern in occurring in the image: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DFSwZAbmnrg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DFSwZAbmnrg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DFSwZAbmnrg.html Both screens are affected at different times. Is it something in the room or an artifact of the camera?
That's how you downplay your finished project. "Man, your screen looks great. That must've taken some time to get it to look so good!" Response: "Ah, it was nothing."
@@Kpaceguy thank you so much. Now I try to understand why? What the dedicated 3D screens have got that the black serie one doesn't have? I have written to the Nothingprojection helpdesk last night and they said that 3D is not up to the Screen but to the projector itself, althrough I can see that a lot of screens caracteristics data ( any brands) sometimes specify that the screen is 3D or 3D active compatible. Black serie screen description just do not say anything about 3D at all. Then I feel lost how does it work please? Thank you for your support.
@@Kpaceguyso is the cinegrey the 3d model because i heard you say it had .08 gain and the cinegrey is rated at 1.1 and measured at 0.9 but i love that screen esp for the money
Can you help me figure out if they can do ALR screen with 2.35 aspect ratio and 14ft wide? I cannot find anyone who produces either of those. I want to use 2 projectors for ultra short throw with edge blending to get a larger 2.35 image, instead of using an anamorphic lens and longer throw projector.
I've never seen a gray screen in that aspect ratio ever but I've seen people buy the biggest 16:9 screen you can find ans then put velvet panels on it to shape it into 2:35
The black series looked better with ambient light, and the other looked better when there was no light. *At least from your posted video. Capturing true representation can be difficult even if you are using a full frame camera.* Please tell me this wasn't filmed with your phone camera. 🙏
We have been using a a silver (Nierbo metal projector) screen with a 2.4 Gain for our outdoor movies for the last few years. The additional depth in contrast has been outstanding. Plus it has allowed us to start movies closer to sunset... (West Coast)
