Tsagaan Sar is by far my favorite week I have spent in Mongolia.
Not only is it finally getting warmer outside, but I was warmly welcomed to celebrate a holiday with such an incredible depth of traditions and customs I would not have had the opportunity to experience anywhere else in the world!
Shoutout to the many hospitable Mongolians who treated me like their family during this Tsagaan Sar. This video is meant to share what celebrating the holiday was like from my perspective, as a foreigner living in Mongolia. I am not an expert on the language or culture so please forgive my mistakes!
