It’s okay, I’m a Toronto girl and watch American/world wide eats…then look up recipes of things we don’t have here…that’s how I get my cooking ideas! never go to the restaurants just try to create it at home. Nothing better than a home cooked meal 👩🏽🍳! The struggle is real sometimes making new food but it’s a fun struggle and worth it in the end cause it’s like wow I made that with my hands!
Omg the food looks so delicious 😋 im a foodie at heart too. I love Thai food so much and the little family owned and cooked, place we used to go to close 😢 so we are, definitely going to try your place ❤ thanks for the recommendation 😊
Shoshana girl! You don’t understand how long I’ve wanted to try habesha food, so I would like to thank you personally for putting me on. Will be pulling up to Solams!!!
literally have been trying to look for a restaurant that sells GOOD birria tacos in the city and so happy you recommended el charro. will definitely give it a try omggg
Girl I love you. I get so excited every time I see you’ve posted a new video. They are so feel good. I mean I’m watching this even though going to Toronto is not even on my radar😂
Def need to try Selam! Can you share everything you got again please cause I need every single thing you ordered haha. Also ...LOVE LOVE Sala's! Have you tried the pad see ew (i think that's how it's spelled lol) w/ pork belly? AMAZING. Love this new series by the way ◡̈
@@ShoshanaRose I love Ethiopian food. It's my favourite together with East Indian, Persian, Turkish and Serbian food. Have you tried Serbian food ? There is Three Brothers Restaurant in Scarborough. These are the dishes you need to try - cevapi - kebabs marinated in different spices, grilled to perfection in mouth watering bread filled with bell pepper sauce and fried onions, karadjorje snickla - this is called a woman's dream - its breaded chicken shaped like a baguette filled with melted cheese and ham - similar to Chicken Kiev. Have you tried pleskavijce, it's a huge hamburger marinated in various spices on a sesame seed bun.
@@ShoshanaRose Have you tried East Indian Food ? There is Udupi Restaurant on Jared Street in Toronto. Some dishes you need to try - masala dosa - a paper thin crepe filled with potatoes in various spices with mint, coriander chutney with sambar, a lentil and vegetable soup. Another dish you need to try is chole bathura - it's a chicken pea dish in various spices with puris - flat crispy Phyllis dough melt in your mouth bread. You got to try this.
Love this food tour please make it a series but can you do different type of themes ( so halal /vegan/ East African joints etc in Toronto) would be a great reference for when people are visiting Toronto. Also love the Somali owned dessert plug is yes to supporting East African places hahah when I eat at Ethiopian places ( your videos made me go and try it out) I always feel good about supporting local East African places / immigrants in Switzerland
Okay I never considered a Buick until now. LOVE the food videos. Big mama is the only person I trust with food Reccos! Have to try that Ethiopian spot asap!
Amazing video as usual!!! 😍😍😍 What's the intro song and the song playing before you had the Ethiopian food? I like this version better than the original Drake song! :D
