Sad to hear that it didn’t meet square enix sales expectations. Hope more people pick this up. The best final fantasy and one of the best action games in recent years. This was the ‘adult’ final fantasy I was hoping ff15 would be.
I've been a long term fan of FF since the early years and credit to Square Enix for making this game highly accessible for any difficulty and skill set, it's very approachable and accessible for anyone, I'm no elite hardcore nutter that brags about "oh I completed it on its highest difficulty and not be hit" because that's the wrong mentality, the real question should be "Are you enjoying it? Are you having fun with it" I also appreciate the care they took with its darker mature themes that Forspoken completely lacked because swearing and cussing like a sailor is NOT a sign of maturity in the slightest, alot of care went into crafting FF16 and usually I would say FF7 would be my definitive favourite but for me FF7 and 16 are equally the most fun I've had with the FF series, oh the tears I've shed with 16's story is absolutely compelling and truly draws you in, and where's my plush toy Torgal Square Enix? Oh Clive became so much more compelling with his loyal Doggo at his side and I absolutely LOVE intergrading Torgal into my combo strategy, I mean how many games can you think of with Doggo companion tactics?
