Yea API General Cure is pretty good. It has both praziquantel and metroplex combined. I use it with my saltwater quarantine protocol. But I dose it at a 6 days interval between each dose as flukes eggs might hatch and your first dose will not eradicate it.

Great tips. Especially these days when the quality of fish (SW in my experience) is a joke especially in WA. Really disappointed in the Perth stores selling fish that are diseased and in poor shape. I looked up that DRP3 and just so you are aware it has a lot of fillers and no algae/vegetable matter included for your tangs. Tank is looking great 👍

Your supposed to use a lot less water to make medicated fish food. U just want the food to get absorbed with the water and medicine. U should also add garlic and some epsom salt. Due to the foul medicine taste. Then dry the food back out

Hey Lauren, just found your video via DRP FB Group. Could not agree more about DRP. Fantastic product. Also, your marine tank is gorgeous. I'm not game to try a marine tank yet, but I'll sure be checking through your previous videos for the goods there. Just one question I have regarding the soaking of the food. I have not used the suggested API product, but I wonder if it would be better to add the API to some water and let it disolve first, then place the food in there to soak for the 5 minutes you suggested. Would be keen to hear your response. Again, great video and I'll be sure to check out the rest of your content. Cheers!

Awesome video!! I have a quick question if you don’t mind. I have a 36 gallon tank and run it on a canister filter like yourself. I set it up 3.5 months ago and haven’t had a issue till now. I have cyano algae on my rocks and a bit on my sand bed. I wanted to upgrade next week to a 75 gallon tank and use my rock and my water from this tank as it would give my new tank beneficial bacteria and hopefully prevent me from having to cycle my new tank. I have 2 small clowns and a royal gramma and watchman goby that will go into the new 75 gallon. May I ask what’s your opinion in how to treat this tank. I did buy chemiclean and a air pump and stones for more oxygen. Am I gonna have to scrub all these rocks down and have to throw out my water in this tank? I’m hoping I can still use it. Your excellent at what you do and your new large tank looks amazing. Thank you!

Hey Lauren, Great video! I was wondering if you have used API General Care to treat Pleco Catfish at all? I've noticed some products suggest not using this for Plecos. I usually use aquarium salt to treat my fish but after adding some Neon Tetras my catfish have white poop and the salt isn't working. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. TIA
