My Feud with Winnie the Pooh is OVER! | What Happened? 

If Cody and Pooh can make peace with each other, there might be some hope left in the world after all.😊

While this video isn’t a movie, this is certainly my favorite story that has come out of 2024 so far.

There is always a feeling of euphoria when a long fight is over, and there is also a sense of confusion. It's been going on so long that you constantly have it on your mind, and suddenly, it's over. You still have all the unsaid things inside you and suddenly it means nothing. It's a great and weird feelings. I am glad for you that it's over

The best thing about this (to me) is the transparency and willingness to express humility. It's an extremely common trait in people willing to improve upon themselves so you may be watching a sequel that blows it out of the water

I’m so happy you and the ppl behind the movie have cleared up the beef. They really went overboard with their reaction to your opinion on their movie which objectively is an awful movie and to act the way they did was very immature. So when I saw your post saying you all had a discussion where you were able to clear the air and they apologized that made me happy to hear. You truly are a person of class.

To be completely honest I wasn't even going to watch Blood and Honey 2 exclusively based on what they had done to you last year, so I'm glad that everyone talked it out like real people. It makes me happy for you Cody, because I imagine how exhausting it must be to be associated with that drama over and over, I've always admired your ability to express yourself and this wasn't the exception. Keep your good work as always and keep growing, you absolutely deserve it.

So happy y’all were able to work it all out. I recently had an experience like this, I got really distant with a friend due to some issues between us a few months back, but I reached out to talk and we’re great friends again. The internet can really drive us apart, and it’s so important to remember none of us are perfect and things like this can easily get out of hand.

Much respect to all involved especially Matt who clearly is a gentleman and went above and beyond to resolve something that might be trivial otherwise, but hopefully Pooh doesn't have to be such a dirty word anymore :)

I was literally about to comment your last words on the matter that it’s SO important to make the effort to connect as humans as opposed to just via a keyboard, especially nowadays. That’s quite literally how my bff became best friends, we beefed on Facebook before we actually met in person and hung out. Instantly bffs and the most rewarding relationship I’ve ever had even still. Those are the kinds of powerful relationships that can really only happen when there is true human communication and connection, and we’ve all kinda forgotten that.

I always say that it's hard to convey tone over text I've had a lot of arguments with freinds, family etc because of this it's big of both sides to join together and amend an issue. Great video!

Summer of 84 is fabulous. The first time I bought it on Xbox digital and watched it, it’s definitely my most watched movie in my library.

But I think the real hero of this story, which I think you’ll agree, is Matt Leslie. Summer of ‘84 is badass and it’s cool to hear his role in resolving the feud. I didn't even know this feud was even happening. Honestly glad to see a positive outcome from it. I personally think the first film isn't a good movie but I am a fan of it and really excited for the future of the franchise.

This isn’t a shot at you Cody but more a critique of dialogue in 2024. Social media has completely warped how most people talk with each other. And when you remove that, people get to humanize each other and discuss things with each other respectfully. Kudos to everyone involved coming together and trying to find common ground.

Dang. I didn't see the movie out of solidary for you in part (the negative review at first,the feud afterwards) but now, I'll humor their project. This was an integrity move of the finest vintage. I t actually makes me feel a bit better about the crappy world we live in. Its not easy online today but this helps. And okay, I'll watch Summer of 84!

Cody imo personally I think they didn't target you by accident. I think they purposely targeted you because you hold yourself to a very mature degree. So they preyed on the fact that you aren't the type to go after them even if they slander your takes. They were plenty of channels that were bad mouthing that movie and have gave negative reviews that reflect that. But they wanted to target someone specifically. The channel couldn't be too small to where it wouldn't make any difference because people wouldn't have heard of you. But it the channel couldn't be too big to where they were gonna get flamed for going after you. I.e. Jeremy Jahns, Angry Joe, Chris Stuckmann. I say this to all to say without coming across in any way that I respect you as a man because you are alot better than me. If the creators were criticizing my channel I probably would have probably made at least 3 different videos making fun of the creators for having the audacity to try to play victim even though they make crappy material. Like I'm supposed to give you a cookie because you put effort into something Abysmal? You got me Fffed Up

Ive never put anything creative out in the public space but I can imagine id be sensitive to harsh criticism. Im glad the movie makers showed humility and were able to squash the tension. I hope this story helps w relations between the indie horror community and reviewers being the bulk of indie horror (not released by a24 or foreign) is schlocky slashers and not high quality movies, criticism should be expected, just dont take it personal
