Agree, it doesn't really matter who suggested it or tried to talk you into it, you know right from wrong. I would have been out in a heartbeat. Just goes to show you how easily she can be swayed into unsavory behavior.
If someone wants to open a relationship, they are already checked out of the one they are in. Best to just cut ties and separate than try to salvage something that has no lasting value or integrity.
Tell everyone the truth!!! Report with a lawyer to the state license board to be held accountable for sure!!! Screw that therapist and send the recording as evidence for the treachery of this.

Truth be told, anyone can be manipulated of the other person is good enough at finding the right buttons to push. Bow imagine if that other person is a mental health professional.

I don’t get why they blame the therapist and not consider that she is a grown woman that can think on her own. She just wants to play around and not be at fault. The therapist idk what her deal is, but shouldn’t be all suggesting ridiculous behaviors. The correct way the ex should’ve have handled the situation was to find another therapist. If she was really in love with her fiancé she would’ve never considered opening the marriage.
