FN Champion has huge flaws. I play it everyday. It’s not perfect. It was great for 13 years ago, but not for 2024. You have to give this game attention in order for companies like EA to see that it’s worth the money, and maybe we will get a new FN. I hope they sort out those commentary issues. With you talking over them its not too bad, but playing myself it would be immersion breaking. Same with the cutman doing nothing. But the clinch, i can accept as long as its back in soon. It does look pretty bad imo and with how I'll play it wouldn't have been used much anyway. Just have to remember, these devs want the game to be just as amazing, if not more so, as we do. So im just gonna trust the process. They need to add an option to make right stick head movement though. It needs to feel snappy and fast

Can't do a leaping left hook, and can't replicate how low Tyson got, or do a proper peek-a-boo. I tried to get into the game, but it feels so sluggish. Have fun though, nice vid. If prime Tyson can only be a 70 is nuts, he had insane speed and power in the 80's.
@@philchickenfingers1190 Mike was way quicker and meaner IRL than in this game. He never walked backwards and he followed through all his punches completely with 100% effort to hurt the other guy. In this game it looks like he just softly taps the target instead of punching strait through. Very bad simulation. Even Nintendo 8-bit Punch Out is more accurate.

@@philchickenfingers1190 Haha, Fury got in trouble with Otto Wallin, a Swedish unknown boxer who should have won by stoppage due to Fury's massive bleeding. And he then got floored by a UFC fighter, then lost his belts to Usyk who clearly outboxed him. Mike Tyson was at a completely different level during his prime and that was BEFORE Don King ruined his career. The version of Mike Tyson in the game is even way slower than Mike Tyson at current age. Anyone can see that except you it seems. The peek-a-boo style he was taught by Cus D'Amato was to always move forward and throw every punch with KO intention, that's a fact.

How does this compare to fight night champion? I usually just play two boxers and fight from time to time. It seems like it needs more polish before it is ready to challenge Fight Night.
That’s the problem, you’re COMPARING two games from two different eras and companies. EA has BILLIONS of dollars, of course they can make their games LOOK better. But I play FN Champion every other day and it’s NOT perfect. It has so many flaws that THIS game makes up for. Ya’ll need to use your heads and see that by giving this game attention it’ll signal to the other companies like EA that boxing is STILL profitable and that we STILL want it. Otherwise they’ll just keep making shitty UFC games and Basketball games that nobody is happy to play.

If they could fix Fight NIght Champion by putting the the corner mini games back in from previous versions of fight night and fix commentary which all EA games struggle with from time to time. Asking for 79.99 for a replacement which in fairness does some better but, some worse is a big ask. Maybe on discount.

Thats not Mike Tyson style I haven't seen hit crotch down once and explode with a hook not even once. You got Tyson fighting tall. No head movement no bobbing and weaving. Tyson fight low if thats how the game represents Tyson then it is not realistic at all.
This game turned out to be pretty lame... that is 50+ year old Tyson right..? This game lacks explosiveness, M.Tyson punches are moving at the speed of stop. Game mechanics seem a bit off from realism. The only thing I like is the graphics, looks great as far as aesthetics. Punches and reaction to punches are weak af. I'm a huge boxing supporter and fan but this game does the sport little justice.. Makes me sad we waited this long and this is what they give us...
Very, very disappointed with the movement. It looks so fake. It doesn’t look good. I was excited about this game, but even when they’re moving, there’s no footwork. The punches are slow and slugging.

So awful... how can we make this kind of game 13 years after FNC on next gen game... arms are too stiff, the punches seem to be powerless, no referree, they all fight the same, no cinematic, a lot of fighters are missing, the damages look bad...
@BTCFKIVS I totally agree but you could feel the punches in FNC and the exchanges were very fast and accurate. But yeah the animations sucked, always the same trainer in the corner, a lot of fighters were missing, no animations... at least the story and gameplay were very good

But it’s clear and has been from the start that this game was made by a small studio that has barely received any funding. Some here and there but not nearly enough as EA has. You can’t expect AAA from independent game studios fam. A lot of you just don’t get how this works. In order for this game to grow and become what we want, we need to pay for it and give attention to it, if we don’t do that, and by no means is anyone TELLING YOU that you HAVE TO, but again if we don’t do that, then we will not have a boxing game. Meaning NO OTHER GAME STUDIO THAT DOES HAVE AAA TITLE MONEY will go and make a worthy boxing game. It’s up to you ultimately at the end of the day.
We need current generation fighters fighters that are fighting now not fighting from 2003 stop with the old fighters we need new fighters how college football does it better than boxing? At least college football has every name of every player. Nobody buy this game, it's horrible. Yes i know that no one has played this game because the beta is the only version out there right now, and i know that i can't really compare this game to a game that was made 20 years ago, but still DON'T BUY IT. The developers should be in jail for this atrocity. If you buy it you hate boxing and hate video games and hate people in general. Only losers will buy this. Winners like me would never buy this.
