My best hitter was a toss up between Hank Aaron or Joe Mauer, I used both of them a lot and loved them but I can’t decide. My best pitcher was Corbin Burnes even over Randy. Corbin has been my favorite pitcher this year and last and I think he’ll probably be my favorite next year too. I also am so excited for MLB 23. My favorite part of MLB the show is always the team building and we’re gonna get to do more of that next year.
Best Hitter: 99 Don Mattingly. .353 batting average in over 300 at bats with 64 home runs. Best Pitcher: 99 milestone Juan Marichal. His pitch mix isn't all that great, but the speed differential is elite, his change up is disgustingly good.
97 ovr Matt Carpenter hit 76 homers in diamond dynasty for me and 99 austin riley hit .400 for me but I'd say overall the 99 bryan reynolds was my best hitter, i have 200 at bats with him and he still hits over .500 on allstar/hall or fame
bobby miller was my best pitcher BY FAR. under 100 p5 with a 1.3 era on HOF+ ranked only. best hitter was also not close, 98 mondesi was glitchy as hell and batted like .440 with a bomb a game
I would say the severs being consistent where we don’t have games forced quit or connection issues it was overwhelming this year in particular…….and no more perfect/perfect outs or fouls
Best hitter I cannot choose just one: Takashi Ken Griffey Jr. Signature Babe Ruth and Milestone Albert Pujols Best pitcher is also tough to just choose one so I'll chose one from starters, one for reliever, and one for closer: Starter: Signature Randy Johnson Reliever: 2022 Finest Johan Duran Closer: Takashi Billy Wagner or Retro Finest Eric Gagne.
Jackson Jobe was pretty nasty earlier in the year but Awards Pedro was my personal favorite SP. 96 Bogaerts was so solid for a long time and his Finest raked.
I never completed any collections so my best batter was either 99 Peña, Soto, Howard, or Harper while my best pitcher was either 99 Signature Randy or Gerrit Cole in the rotation and Gange in the pen
Imo, perfect perfect line drives and ground balls if they go to a fielder, that's baseball. But perfect perfect flyballs should be a homerun everytime. And I have had a shocking amount of perfect perfect flyballs that die on the warning track
Dominate hitter is between postseason Trea turner, and Takashi Jimmie and Griffey. Even Finest clemente was up there. Pitcher is between Finest Greg Maddux and Takashi Mike mussina
my best hitter although hard to chose between 3 guys, would have to be 99 retro finest Luis Gonzalez for some reason (although posada and trea tuner are close) , he did incredible for me, and pitching wise my best starter would have to be besides randy, maybe 99 milestone bob feller
I think my favorite hitter this year was Jimmy Rollins but also including Finest Jose. Favorite pitcher was kinda tough for me but I think I can say my entire rotation of Verlander, Roy , Kershaw DeGrom and AJ Burnett
my best hitter was by a huge margin 99 j-ram. hit 60+ hrs with him. Second place was just 44 hrs. My best pitcher is a bit tougher of a decision, but i would give it to Pedro
My best hitter was Retro Finest Vlad Sr. His debut he hit 4 tanks It’s my favorite DD card of all time as of now. And pitching as weird as this may sound was probably Tom Glavine Idk why he did so good for me I always love his cards
I'd have to say my most dominant sp in 22 was 99 retro finest Chris sale, my first and only P5 card. My best hitter(s) we're ken Griffey Jr and Bryan Reynolds. (They were both around .375 batting average with about 30 hrs a piece.
Okay I stopped playing the show before the playoffs because I started playing madden but my best hitter was either 95 Bryan Reynolds I had him parallel 4 and then 93 Ketel Marte I also had him parallel 4 and my most dominant pitcher was 96 Fernando Valenzuela I had him parallel 5 with a super low ERA and too many strikeouts with that nasty fastball to change up
My best pitcher was by far Finest Corbin Burnes. My best hitter is definitely a toss up, but I would say either retro finest Kyle Tucker or finest Pete Alonso
