Yeah bro, in car audio it's never over.... always something you want to change or upgrade... that's why I went on and bought the stereo integrity mids and highs because I knew I was going to eventually change and did not want to keep dealing with mids and highs. Also, I have a habit of changing subs but I believe with good reviews and recommendations the SI SQL will give me what I'm looking for. I had kicker q class, FI audio alpha, Alpine type r for other options for subs as well.... Can't wait to see what you do...
Hi brother! All active is absolutely more professional and can be tuned better/more flexible. But if you don't have the skills or the time, with good crossovers, you also can achieve good results. I remember I had a semi active setup with Audio System HX165 Phase with double kickbasses (year 2007/2008) on a Alpine H701 DSP. The crossover it came with, the FWX, had literally couple of thousands sound settings. It measured and sounded very good. Knowing Morel, those are also very nice for someone who wants to go passive.
100% agree with you brother. Active is King, but passive is no slouch either. My system was completely passive in my earlier videos, and you all liked my sound... as did I. I only decided to go fully active when I committed to this build... but for those who do not wish to go this far, passive with quality crossovers will not let you down in the slightest.
@@umtbozkr2358 🤣🤣🤣 an absolute NIGHTMARE! I want to go soooo badly, to see them in person because it's so close to me, but ticket prices are insane, and the traffic and congestion isn't worth it. I'll stick with IndyCar in Long Beach. So much easier to navigate. It would normally take me 30 mintues to get down there, but with traffic, it'll be an hour and a half 🤦🏿♂️
@@Ahm-Creative Yes, I heard that the prices are insane 😂😂😂. The Dutch grand prix 2024 is already sold out. The most Dutch go to Austria or Hungary. My birthday present should be 2023 Austrian GP; but my wife messed up with reservations. So I got a Samsung S23 Ultra instead. My brother in law and his wife went to the Austrian GP. 8 to 10 hours drive depending how fast your car is; Germany, no speed limits on the highway 😁. I did it in 6 hours, honestly, in 2009 with my e39 BMW M5.

I’m not guessing. Just sayin I’ve settled on a pair of 10” Ultimo SC subs. Hopefully get em before spring. The Morel demos on your channel sold me on the brand. Still got Kicker front stage as a budget replacement for blow OEMs, but the Virtus Nano…gotta have em.
Brotha, you are gonna love those subs.... pure sq.... and it'll be a night and day difference when you get your Virtus! The Morel accuracy and detail is unreal. I'm nearly done.... soooo close.... just gonna narrow it down a bit more, but I'm nearly there.

Question: In your experience, is there a big difference in dash-mounted midrange vs A pillar? Not a fan of pillar mounts visually, but may consider if it’s worth it. My bad if I asked already.
@@milesbachelor8747 thank you brotha ✊🏿 It's something relatively minor I need to change that most won't notice, but it's nagging me. As for dash vs pillar, I don't think you asked.... and from what I've heard, it's preference. I've heard both with perfect staging and time alignment.
