I graduated with my finance degree in May and I don’t regret it but a lot of the concepts I learned are catered to Asset management/ IB / Private equity but ig I found out I don’t want to go in either of these industries so kinda find a lot of what I learned useless. I don’t regret my major but if I could do it over I’d rather get an accounting degree!

Man college apps are due soon and finance degree sounds fun, but Im just learning about it. Hopefully I can get into a solid college with this major.

Hi! Going into finance, starting my freshman year in under 3 weeks. I struggle with math a lot, but I never failed any courses in high school despite that. I got around a C- in precalc (68% as we don’t use letter grades where I live), do you think I can still be successful in this major? I’m a super dedicated student so my math issues are something deeper than slacking off, and besides math I am an A student.

Math has been the main subject that i’ve been talented in all my life, and finance seems to be the major that involves math and gets paid high. im graduating with a bba in finance, and realized that I only need 4 more classes for an ecnonmics degree as well. From looking at the job market requirements, doesn't seem like having a double major in economics would really be worth the time compared to say an internship. Would you agree?
