Enjoy your dressing room it’s stunning! I turned my spare room into one. And when my Dad passed away my Mum couldn’t bare to sleep in their bedroom, so we’ve started renovating her entire house & made her a dressing room, now their old room is no longer sad, it’s beautiful & organised & full of girly things that make her happy! 💖

You should definitely put a little dressing table on the wall with the fireplace in your wardrobe room! It should come out to the same depth as the wardrobes and it would look like a continuation of the wardrobes!

The dressing room looks incredible! You could write each category to hang, each category for drawers and each category for shelves on a post-it note, then pop them where you think you might want things to go, then keep moving the post-its about until you're happy.

I work for a paint company, paint usually has a 6 month shelf life once opened. the coloursnts tends to settle over time. if you were to touch up, you're better off painting a swatch for future touch-ups as paint manufacturers change colours slightly every few months. 😊

I prefer the shirt and skirt together, fits perfectly and you look like a ballerina. Your dressing room is magnificent Emily! You could put a beautiful mirror from ceiling to the top of the fireplace with a gorgeous frame. Add in beautiful large candles that are on a timer in the fireplace, it would add a warmth to the room. ❤

Lovely wardrobes, honestly. Love it that it has glass!😍😍 You can see where is what and not need to open ans close many of them just trying to recall where is what. You can see them and use that visual to yr benefit. I have to sort my wardrobes and your one gave me inspiration. In my life there is no need to hide anything in them as only I go into that room.

The dressingroom looks stuuuuunning! Well done! As long as your knitwear will not be on hangers I think you can't really go wrong. And about the fireplace, there are some really nice faux fireplaces you can put there and still be able to hang a tv above it! I know it's more for the looks than warmth but you might give it a try and really like it! Looking forward to see all your videos this month!❤

In the dressing room, you could have a floor length mirror in between the windows so you get natural light and put an actual fireplace in where the fireplace is with a room diffuser/candle on the mantle and some art etc above it...? But in terms of what you said where things should go, i do agree. On the right behind the door: things that you don't reach for as much or seasonal pieces that you swap out here and there (could even put luggage on the bottom there?), near the window on the right: casj hoodies/lounge/trackies, window left: coats/jackets, fireplace left: long gowns/dresses, window side of the island: gym stuff and underwear etc, have a nice antique mirror on the island to do makeup and have the top drawers as if your facing the windows as makeup, drawers under to use for other stuff like hair dryer and beauty appliances etc x

I’d use one side of the island for folded clothes and the other for beauty and hair tools and the drawers inside use for accessories and the other drawers maybe for clutch bags/wallets and scarves. Emily, the dressing room is stunning 😍 so well thought out. I think for underwear and sports clothing put them in the island drawers so that you can grab them as quickly as possibly. You don't want to open a wardrobe and then open a drawer when you have the island. ❤

We got our fireplace from a reclamation centre that sold original Victorian and Edwardian cast iron fireplaces in North London...depends on your theme but they are beautiful and would definitely fit the style of your house!!! xx

Love the dressing room. I would leave the glass there and have the fabric put up in such a way it’s easily changed eg gathered on stretch curtain cord?? The glass will protect your clothes. Congrats.

For the garland above your bed use command hooks (not sure if they have those in the UK) but that’s what I do with my garland and it doesn’t damage my wall or headboard!

em u don't need to put so much pressure on yourself for this xmas to be perfect, you've just moved in and still have so much to do!! decorating for Christmas does not need to be number 1 right now, there's gonna be loads more Christmases in your house that u can make super extravagant and fancy! just take this one slow, my Christmas this year isnt going to be the best ever as my mum and little sister are in Australia till the 23rd! but thats okay cus i have next christmas!! just do whatever you can

Dream Closet!!! I think the organized drawer should be for sunglasses/wallets etc and then the drawers under it for more like swim suits and such. No matter what it will look amazing.

Plan your wardrobe layout with how you function daily if the first thing you do is workout have workout closer to the door then lounge clothes then outfits you wear often then dressy clothes then coats then pyjamas also if you have comfy underwear for home store them in a different place to outside underwear comfy socks with house underwear and then there’s seasonal stuff you might want a winter coat wardrobe a winter outfit wardrobe

I would put jewellery in the sectional drawer. And use one of the island drawers for hair accessories/makeup/toiletries. And the other side of the island for vest tops/underwear/gym wear…. The wardrobes summer clothes then winter and one for coats/jackets shoes. And you still have loads more wardrobe to play around with. It’s gorgeous Emily would love to have as big a room to dedicate all my clothes and accessories 👏🏻❤️
