Invalidates the items, invalidates the tracks. Invalidates strategy. Say what you want about waluigi wiggler, thoses types of players are only being statistically benefited. Now take those mfs and dedicate an entire mode for their careless playstyle and you got 200cc. Dry was always troy's main, but so was those meta stats. Why would a player like him ever care about any other thing? Now you have the perfect combo: Unoptimized stat only mode + a stat hungry playerbase. Already bad enough he chipped away at the fun items. Wii mofos stomping on the grass to cancel the little balancing mk8d had and make items just as irrelevant here as in their game. Like damn yall already got custom tracks, the ability to craft whatever to fit your competitive needs, the ultimate form of control in your own territory. Nintendo gives you custom roulette and yall decide to destroy mk8ds design in place for this even staler one. Never should you be able to break away in tournament format. The curse of the mkwii meta ever more tries to devour all that glimmers.
