At long last, my grind for a 29 maxout is over!
Featuring a new overall lines WR (586), and the second ever 29 maxout, only 40,000 points behind Cheez!

It's so beautiful to see people still name jonas in their best games. You top-notch players set the bar way higher than Jonas could have reached, but seeing you remembering the first-era players truly talks about how humbleness still is a predominant factor and virtue of the community. The nice crisp 60 fps capture is really nice to see. Also, adding the uncapped score manually in post is a very nice touch!

hi bismuth! yeah I feel that's something a lot of other high level players neglect, i use an extron in1502 with a datapath

@@Aericane lines rollover won't happen. The first digit goes to A at 1000 Lines, and I've seen TAS Bot videos take it clear out to the letter X. I don't think any human would have the stamina to go that long.

Your 1,466,460 is 19 start and before that, wasn’t your PB ~1,320,000? Unless you’ve gotten a better 18 game since then, is your 29 PB now higher than your 18 PB? If so that’s unreal

Total of 3 Tetrises. The last one at about 14:10 scored over 83,000 points - which must be another record in itself as the lines-cleared at that point was (I believe) already passed the previous WR (starting from any level) Amazing

Weird glitch on the uncapped score there, that tetris should have scored 80400 but the update was for 83080 because it included the score update for the prior single (Notice no score update with that single).

If more people keep rolling for 29 play then I definitely see this as the future in some tournaments. In a few years at least half the competitions will be on 29 only since everyone will make it there anyway

Edit: If it's Fractal who did it on PAL version which has a slower killscreen than NTSC, it should be stated that Eric was the first to maxout on level 29 NTSC version which is harder imo.

cheez was the first to max on ntsc 29. as usual, he hasn't uploaded the video yet, but it was streamed live on twitch.
