Great video mate. Starting my HGV course at the end of the month and enjoy your videos as they me a good idea of what I could end up doing. Keep it up!
@@TRUCKERKEV Usual variety. Alot of those watching are probs people like me so filming the basic bread and butter stuff so we can learn is always the most helpful- alot of channels skip what they consider the "obvious stuff" which, to many, may not be.
Class that like 👍🏻 I’ve got my class 1 and 2. I’ve also just renewed my ADR so I’m going to look around and see if I can get a job like the one your doing 😂
Nice little video mate. Yes make a video on getting your ADR. I'm moving back to the UK and need to do my CPC and was thinking of doing the ADR at the same time
I used to deliver gas bottles when I was a coal man.........they were an absolute ball ache!! Also had to fit them aswell!! Was never a large amount because I don't have an adr so it had to be below a certain weight!!! I believe it was 330kg before u need an adr licence!
@@TRUCKERKEV More filming of the gas canisters and load handling/moving as well as the customer dealing and goods delivery parts. This is what I would love to see more of. That said, great video still.
Great video. Great Chanel. I can get free access to a class 2 and class 1 licence, plus the Cpc and ADR, as it’s available on funding in Wales. They are doing the ADR in early January, with no dates set for all others yet. Do you know if it’s possible to just do the ADR first and then go onto the higher classes of licence? Obviously I have a car licence and will try these as it’s free and with good extra income prospects. Just hoped to get the ball rolling and do the ADR then C2 & CPC followed by C1. Hope that makes sense. Cheers!
was thinking off getting a ADR license but I can't even get any class 1 work even with agency's got my hiab 5 months ago constantly applying for jobs and speaking to agency's and no one wants to touch me with no experience 😂🤣 I really give up might just jump back in to warehouse FLT work
Nooooo don’t mate it’s hard at first but you just need to sign up with loads of agencies and there be a company willing to take on new drivers !! I made a vid on getting new jobs !! Might help
Don’t give it up, I was also a FLT driver & I passed my class 1 on the 5th of December, I walked into a haulage company next door to where I did my HGV training & asked if there were any jobs, I walked out with a full time position. There is definitely companies willing to hire new passes… I got lucky with it being the first company I asked but I’m sure if you bang on enough doors you’ll get something.
experienced drivers are struggling to get work at the moment, so its not just newbies . Its okay passing your test and thinking you will get a job straight away but reality is different, expect all the crap work on the agency, the experienced drivers dont want to do .
This very good no tacho but I'm doing class 1i work remotely it's hard to find jobs because they asked me experience so I'm going to do ADR. How much cast please mate 🙏 thanks
I got my first adr in 92. It took me 2 years to find out it was a complete waste of money. Nobody wants the gas cylinder work that's why its paid a little more and guess what? its winter everyone wants a bottle. try getting that work for 40 hours a week. Good to see you have an unsecured gas heater in the passenger seat. Boys in blue will give you points for that fella.
